I never really had an opinion on Katie. I'm not American, I never watched American news but she is so rad! She's got more integrity than most. I really like her!

The sublime look on Katie's face imagining our first woman president reflects same feelings here. "Yes we can" indeed.

Katie's take on the wonderful diversity of the Olympic team is so relatable in modern America. I'm 61 and watching this year has brought tears seeing the real US melting pot on these teams. Being this old I have seen from childhood up how drastically society has changed. I'm a white woman raised in rural VA and I cried like a baby with joy and remembrance of the struggles when Obama was elected. We're NOT going back, dammit!

That last question... you both made me cry. I was just thinking yesterday about the young girls watching Kamala right now and trying to imagine it from their perspective. I think it will cause so many women to decide to enter politics, and I'm so excited to see how that impacts our future. Thanks for the q&a format...I enjoyed it immensely.

Yes I must say that I subscribed because the women are so sexy and I can't help it but I would love to see them naked. I'm not proud of that but it doesn't help me to lie. I know it is wrong. My kids made it possible to start a journey that is my gift from Christ. I never thought I could feel love till my late 40's. I hoped for a companion. I'm hard to take. But when I felt the gift of love. I loved all of myself. The actual gift was being able to love. I'm happy for Katie and it is truly a gift. I look to see miracles, gifts. My head doesn't make good decisions. But my gift given to me was always there. Doesn't mean I'm perfect. Strong, intelligent women turn me on. Eventually I will process my fantasy of y'all naked. The point? I have to own it before I can deal with it. Please try not to take offense.

Yes we Kam! As a Gen X woman, I never thought I'd ever see a Gen X President. I thought President Obama would be the closest we would ever get. But now we have a distinct possibility of that & she's a mixed race woman too! I am so excited! And yes, I know VP Harris was born in 1964, but she was born at the end of 1964, so we Gen Xers are claiming her as our own!

Having a crush IS tremendous fun IF the person reciprocates, otherwise it's misery, but still a FUN kind of misery.... I always think of the Cannons song- On Fire, "My heart drops when I'm around you, it just stops when I'm without you; wish I'd never met you, never could forget you".....

I love the idea of more concentrated attention to actual family support beyond WIC and SNAP. We need good daycare. One that does not $100 a day. When I had my daughter, after the math was done, if I had gone back to make less than $50 a week. For us, it was a no-brainer... we didn't have credit card debt, and I'm a frugal person anyway. Those were the most fulfilling days. I wish I could have had a few, but it wasn't financially possible. We did raise a good human being. Now she's a married mom of 2, staying at home with them and raising them to be good human beings. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.

I wonder if we’ll get some substantial honesty from ivanka Trump once her father dies. But her husband and brothers might still be barriers to that. But I think they’d be much smaller barriers than her father and maintaining her inheritance would be…

That was Tina Fey! I found out much later. It so sounded like Palin could've said it, and meant it metaphorically. I lived in AK in '08, and was aware the Pacific Rim economy wrapped all the way around. [Usibelli Coal Mine's biggest customer is South Korea.] Big & Little Diomedes Islands are only a couple miles apart, and I have to look up each time which is US and which Russia's. I still think Fey could have been riffing on something Palin said about the Diomedes, where Alaskans _can_ see Russia from their homes.

With all due respect, Katie, it didn’t take your interview to figure out Sara Palin wasn’t “ready for prime time”. We could all see from a mile away what a disaster she was going to be.

SO looking forward to having a female president. The country HAS to get over this hang-up and join the remainder of the democracies in this world. NOT having a woman at the top is NOT what makes America great. Not in the least.
