My father, not a farmer, who is in his late 70’s travelled for almost 3 hours, on his own, to attend the protest. He was left dismayed, as the people he spoke to were simply not awake. They seem to think that this is about money. This has nothing to do with the money generated through this tax, which is relatively tiny to the exchequer. It’s about a land grab by the government or government controlled business in an attempt to control food production and rural affairs. This has ALL the hallmarks of a very ugly and bloody revolution in a country to the east of us. This is no mistake by this, or the previous, government. It is all deliberate. Once these farmers, and the rest of the normies, finally realise that those making these decisions are NOT, and never will, act in the interests of the people and actively despise the people, the better.

Thank you for reminding your viewers of the South African farmers. Denmark has now also decided to take farmland and turn in into forests. The insanity of the nations are on full display. The "politeness" and "respect" for authority is both a blessing and a curse as we, South Africans, found out. I hope the British public join the farmers and start to push back at this insane proposal. Every nation needs to produce enough food to feed their population. Excess is for export. There will come a day that the international trade will come to an end (there was a "taste" of this during covid ). Previous generations who experienced rationing during WW2 know this and should share their stories with the younger generations. It will come in plastic pretty soon.Plastic meat is being produced here in Scotland at the Research Institute in Roslin, Midlothian where they manufactured Dolly the sheep. Farms will be concreted over for solar panels. Wind turbines will be erected at pace as each farm falls. My 100 acres was land grabbed by the Scottish Govt in March 2020 when lock down began. It's called a 'compulsory Purchase Order'. It's never mentioned on the MSM. It's a right all governments have and believe me, they'll continue to use it whilst the man in the street hears bugger all. Family/small farmers are a voice in the wilderness. You'd wonder why king Charles has not spoken out as he's a farmer and the largest independent supplier of venison in the world. (Mainly to Russia!) Well, he doesn't pay inheritance Taxes, neither did the late queen. At present, all offshore wind turbine companies give, I believe, up to 20% of their profits to the king as he owns the sea surrounding the UK. When I say profits, that makes me sick as their turbines are all subsidised via our taxes. Katie has got the cut of the government. She's onto them and is a great voice for those who are being raped of their land. More power to her and all I can add is this - keep prepping. Start hoarding whatever food is canned/dried. I foresee prices sky rocketing. War is sadly upon us.

I had the pleasure to meet you at the rally Katie, was so surreal to see you in the flesh as I watch your channel every day, thanks for coming to support our amazing farmers. I am the granddaughter of a farmer who worked his whole life only for the Zimbabwean govt to engineer us losing everything he worked for. It is terrifying what our government is trying to do to our farmers. Farmers are not wealthy, they work for next to minimum wage sometimes less in years where weather is bad. My grandfather had to catch food to feed the family bc there was often no money bc of how the industry works, paying for machines, wages for workers, accounting for poor harvest etc. Its the one of the only industries required work 365 days a year, on call 24/7 and the only way the land brings in money is if you work 365, 24/7! Our farm in Zim is now producing nothing, all the fruit trees we planted have been cut down for fuel bc gas/petrol is unaffordable due to over 90% unemployment rate. Would be a travesty to see farms go the same way in this country. Our strength comes from our independence and without our own food sources we are no longer independent. Our government has officially gone insane and attacking our farmers like this goes to show they are not to be trusted with our future or the future of our children! Scrap the tax, save our Farms!!! #NoFarmersNoFood

I bought a farm in France 20 years ago when I became an immigrant to Europe. Ironically, I bought it with the proceeds of the sale of my family home because, as a firefighter, there was no way I could pay the inheritance tax and still keep the house. It was in our family for five generations and was probably very cheap originally, but with the outrageous rise in property prices and being in a sought-after area, combined with long term modernisation lumbered me with a much loved but totally unsustainable asset. I now have a small farm of 60ish acres in Normandie, which I manage alone apart from a contract firm to harvest hay. I've around 45 Roussin ewes and 20 hives of black bees. I admit it is a hobby farm that takes up little time and was primarily chosen for the house and the privacy. When I die because I have no children, 40% of my estate will go to the state. my beneficiaries, such as my God children will be liable for 20% in tax plus legal fees. as will any charities and causes to which I may make bequest to. If I had children the property would (by law) have been divided equally between them. Anyone who wanted to continue with the farm would have to buy out or rent from the others. Imagine how that goes if there are 5 or 6 siblings. British farmers have it easy.

People should not have to buy their possessions from the government to pass it down to their kids. FAMILIES work on farms. They are FAMILY owned and run.

Less food = less people, less energy = less people, your government is harming you intentionally

Socialists/communists always go after farmers. 101 in the play book. Farmers acknowledged during lock down that they could feed the whole country if need be. You wouldn't obviously have kiwi fruit and avocado's but you would not starve!

Kate that was one of most compassionate heart felt talk on the state of this country and that just the tip of iceberg. 👍. Everything may seem lost but we shall endeavour no matter what. Bless you Kate

You captured it completely, at 10:45 - the Labour Communist's plan, straight from the WEF handbook. Erode all levels of people's life, wellbeing and psychy.
@bobspace9782 сағат бұрын
Communists are people who want the means of production (ultimately money) given to the people. WEF are people with a great deal of money who want to keep it for themselves. How are Labour at both extremes at the same time?

My grandfathers were huge landowners, farmers, and ranchers. But their deaths created huge tax burdens and along with the other debts my father owed we lost everything in the late 1960s. This was a fortune in productive land and cattle that could have sustained many generations, and took huge investments in life and courage to attain. But by the end of the '60s there was nothing left. I can't even visit the house I grew up in.

This happened to a lot of farms in a lot of countries. Inheritance taxes kills more than family farms. Many small businesses faced the axe, too, because of inheritance taxes. Big business only supplies the 20% of the things that 80% of the people need.

You only need hear Kristy Noime of Dakota, what brought her into politics, her dad died and the government tried to force them off the land they owned, now other countries are trying the same attempted robbery, time to say no, is now

This happened to a friend of mine. She invited me to her father's country estate for a house party. I couldn't go, I couldn't afford the train ticket and freezing fog spoiled the weekend. It turned out to be the end of the estate... when her father died, it was sold off to pay tax, the mansion razed, the parkland is now a caravan park, and she lives alone in a cottage with her dogs. The entire extended family was ruined. That was 50 years ago. The grand estates that once employed and housed thousands in my county are now small subsistence farms, their great houses spoil-heaps of rubble - or owned by the appalling National Trust, which doesn't have the old country skills to run the estates productively, or by investment funds.

Absolutely correct. Anyone who doubts the trajectory must take a look at the policies implemented in South Africa over the past 30 years. We were the petrie dish for it ALL: land appropriation, industrial-scale race hustling, mass medicalisation, endless DEI that is only benefiting the tiny new black elite, etc. All based on manipulating one's better nature. And white South Africans were MUCH too polite, out of a desire for atonement/acceptance/appeasement. The expropriated farms are non-functional. I just edited a doctoral thesis on the KZN context absolutely confirming this. Reminder though, for those who do take an interest: Cape Town is NOT South Africa 🙄

Well done, Katie. I have felt for many years that something isn't right. The push to destroy everything that is good about my country has been speeding up. For a number of years, there was a feeling that something wasn't right, but now, those in charge have finally shown their true colours. I genuinely believe their arrogance and hubris will be their downfall .

Frankly I’m pleased it was an organised protest. London is sick of being gridlocked because of unruly protests. It was a respectful protest and certainly got recognition. Well done farmers! You want FRENCH protests…go to Paris and do it!

Something to ponder........ Imagine "They" plan to build a "Tri State Smart City" that could house over 50+ million people across the Nederlands and Belgium..... and would really like an offshore Solar/Wind Farm to power it, but the pesky farmers are in the way. Also to ponder ( and which possibly linked) certain Billionaire wants to put m RNA into the food chain... But can't while pesky farmers are growing healthy fresh food,.... Lots of money to be made feeding people rubbish /contaminated food then providing the medication for the illnesses.....
