I first heard "Loving Her" from her OurVinyl Sessions a few years ago, and let me tell you... the memory of the first time I heard it is still ingrained in my head. I probably listened to it on a loop for over an hour straight. It still hits me the same to this day.

Katie is the real deal. Knowing her whole family, I've watched Katie's talent grow and refine. She's an incredible singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Her sense of melody in chordings and solos is beyond her years. Her ability to write haunting lyrics and refrains is from that of a soul of thousands of years old. Keep it up Katie!

She's said the overall feel of the song while she was writing was inspired by an artist I can't remember, but it's fairly obvious that John Mayer was a huge influence on it. I love this, she's incredibly talented!
