Katmai Brown Bear 164 "Bucky Dent" Is Not Put Off by 856's Intimidation Tactics - Explore.org

Katmai brown bear 856 is one of the most dominant bears at Brooks Falls, but young 164 (aka Bucky Dent and Shower Bear for his unique fishing tactics), does not seem impressed by 856's charge to move him out of the area. 164 pushes back, and actually succeeds in getting 856 to back off, then calmly catches a fish out of the air, right in 856's face!

@Naomi, I wanted to give him a standing ovation! He was so much fun to watch fish in the "shower" last year. I fell in love with him then, and this just made me love him more. He's going to be wonderful to keep an eye on.

LOL, I call that Karma. Shower Bear stood his ground and that fish jumped right into his mouth. 856 looked at him like, he could not believe, not only did Shower Bear NOT run away, but got the fish too.
