Would like to see a video of the install of the sound decoders

Hey Shane. Just wondering how difficult an install this was? Did you have to mill the frame and where did you place the speaker? I have a Kato CB&Q ABA set to go with my California Zepher cars and would love to put ESU decoders in them. Thanks

It's not hard at all. No milling anywhere. Place the decoder at the rear, remove the "cab interior" and place a sugar cube speaker there and wire LEDs to the nose.

What happen to my comment. I am working on Silver Streak Zephyr which just got release and I need to know how you installed the Mars light

Not sure if I saw the original comment. Anyways, I take the light tubes out and cut them free from each other. Using canopy glue, I adhere LEDs to the back of the tubing and use heat shrink and liquid electrical tape to prevent light bleed into the shell. Then a small dot of CA to install the lens with LED attached back to the shell and wire them to the decoder.
