oh speaking of yardmasters i heard about one sitiuation in a yard in new jersey where ns 8105 and ns 8098 were in the same yard and the local foamers found the yardmaster tower phone numbers and they spammed it asking for both the units to lead out a train in the same consist and one of them chipped in a large pizza and like $100. And the crazy part is that the next day they both were in the same consist.

Nobody is getting fired 😂😂 It’s called moving equipment… Putting a ton of engines on a train is common practice to get power moved from one point to another. Just cause an engine is in the consist does not mean it is online. Also, UP and NS lease units to each other at times.
