Thank you for sharing this. This is very cool. I didn’t know that this product existed. Not all Kato products are marketed in the U.S. I have ridden the streetcars in Hiroshima and Osaka.

Excellent video. Its a big help in deciding if i should go for Kato unitram. Just imagine if you have 2 of these and the map is joined together. Perhaps one day you can shoot a video of this Tram system with the Kato trains running on the fringe like say the commuter train or shinkansen. That would be cool. Also if only Kato had a moving bus system. Imagine that running inside the loop with the tram outside it and the trains on the fringe. Wow.

@@nihondensha8403 I finally got the set thanks to your video. Its cool with esp when you put up buildings. Only thing is its hard to make those trams move in my setup. Its like they feel light and you have to keep on ‘pushing’ them till they finally run. 😅

Question: Does it power both tracks at the same time? Can I power both tracks in opposite direction? In other words, if I put 2 trains on different tracks, can they run in opposite direction?

Every track is feeded separately. They work independently, so you can run trams in opposite directions

Is there really no wheels under the center support? I get how they can get away with that with a tiny model, but for a full sized tram that articulation joints surely aren't strong enough to hold the entire middle section up is it?

Hello, no. They don't have any system that allow lighting. You have to do it yourself

Yes, you can separate the straights completely from the roads, and in the curves there is a small pieces of asphalt remaining, to make them compatible with the switches

Hello, the power supply is 100-240VAC 50-60HZ. It should be compatible
