Truth is, a capella is not really my cup of tea, but with VoicePlay, I'm always having lots of fun listening to their covers and other songs. And now I am a big fan of this group. Yass. And they just released their new cover of "Kidnap The Sandy Claw" also from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and as expected, they're delivering it swell and fun. They all have beautiful voices, with a wide range too. Geoff's is the widest of course. I thought he made quite a good vampire but he was so good in Oogie Boogie Man and yet has such a beautiful voice in other songs. His Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold is a revelation.

I've known that some vocalist can reach insane notes up high but I had no idea people can pretty much bottom out on audible sounds vocally. It's rare to hear those voice types and 99.9% of them never tried to sing. It's a shame.
