Ahh this was so fun, thanks for reacting I saw that you had a hard time getting this one up so thanks againnn!! Haewon and Lily are something else, you mentioned them being a match made in heaven/suiting each other really well and I couldn't agree more. They talked more about them as a duo recently pre-deubt and they've really been together for a long time. They were in the older girls trainee group along with possibly Itzy because they mentioned becoming a duo/duet pair and getting left behind together when their seniors debuted and then they suddenly went from the youngest in their trainee group to the oldest ones. Natty and Belle are also similar in synergy as you said so it was really fun getting to see the two duos face off. I don't actually know a lot about Kiss Of Life so getting to see them sing like this was awesome. I heard som people confused on why Haneul wasn't here instead of Natty since she's one of the vocalists but I think it all worked out well. I loved their sorry not sorry cover a lot. Also I think they just used a karaoke machine, so I don't think the judging was all that serious. It was promoted as a competition but it felt like it was more of a showcase for fun which I loved. If it was a serious competition I feel like people would've for sure turned it into a fanwar lmao. Also with the alarm thing I just think it went off whenever they weren't hitting a note stable and since Haewon laughed it went off lmao it would've been cool to see Lily and Haewon face off though ahhhh. Overall this was a great video and a great reaction, it's always fun and honestly educational watching you react so thanks againnn!!!

For me the competition rule was to be confident and sing it right, natty hesitated in the second time 32:09 , then belle sang in head voice (maybe bcs she was nervous or something 35:49 ) and then haewon was laughing bcs of kiof saying "nmixx!!" 36:52 And then she crouched down to sing better (i think they can't do that) .... so lily won, she sang it confident without showing hesitation

Yeah KIOF caved under pressure, especially belle after natty was out. Belle definitely could have done just fine but as you said, it was more of a confidence thing. Also, I’m not gonna lie here but I do feel Lily and haewon had an advantage at that point due to the song choice. As we know, they are HUGE mydays and with day6 in the same company, they love to sing and cover day6 songs. They know this song front and back. Other than Haneul, KIOF doesn’t really listen to day6 or band music. They like rnb and hip hop more, so I doubt they had much practice with this song before. I think Haneul could’ve played it off better during this part.

As a singer my-self just as a hobby, also just to mention quick i had singing lessons and also self-learned via lot lot of practice. All that to say that i have a very good musical ear and not too bad singing knowledge lol Being not familiar with NMIXX those two really impressed me like when they did harmonies like at one point Lily was doing the high tone and Haewon was doing the low tone and doing so naturally. For me, One of the best quality a singer can have is to be able to adapt her voice and singing to a other singer and to different genre and those four are master at that. Even me, when i do Karaoke session on KZbin, i try to do many genres and if i find duet karaoke i try to adapt my voice to the other recorded second singer. I also agree with you that all voice tone can be pretty in their own way. That is why not all singer that i love are belter or have a powerful voice. Oh, by the way i love watching Vocal coach reaction like you. As a singer i find it interesting to see a point of view more technical and not just fanboying/fangirling.

The comments about Belle not opening up all the way were fair, and it was good for me to hear because I don't know much about singing and it was validating to note that it seemed a bit tight. I love the balance and nuance in Natty's voice (use of fry, vibrato, etc.), so that was nice to hear as well.
