Good explanation. And if you want to unlock the print head (and cartridges) from its position here is the tip. Turn on the printer and while it is in the middle of the print head cycle, remove the power cable and this will keep the print head unlocked, you can then freely move the print head with your hand.

I have an EpsoN WF 7720. You may know this by now, but when you switch over to sublimation ink, the printer won’t read the levels. So they may show full and they really aren’t. So you just have to check periodically on your own. Don’t rely on the ink levels. They aren’t accurate. I got this information from Angelo Bonaparte from Cosmos Ink. Hope that helps. Sis...thanks for sharing. You inspire me to one day do the same. When you had the mishap, it did something to me. It helped to make me feel comfortable as a veteran to make mistakes. I feel that the printer deliberately messes up when it asks if we want to continue using the ink.

this happen to me yesterday with my ecotank et15000. I wasted 4 hours frustrated. To find out that the problem wasn’t the printer. The issue was the sillouhette software everytime an update happens. It glitches the print colors. Also instead of print head cleaning, purge a epson file it will clean lines without you having to then get a maintenance tank.

I feel your pain, I just went through the streaking, with me for some reason my red would just streak, and my black would print at all. come to find out with my black I had to prime the cartridge, and then it started to print, with my red, I had to run the head cleaner about fifty time...lol and it straightened out...

You can use any sublimation paper just make sure you get the right size for your printer. And sublimation paper can be used on anything shirts and mugs. I use the same paper for both. Link to the paper I use is down below in my Amazon store or you can buy through heat transfer warehouse

Hi Katrina! Is there a way to set the printer to only print from cassette 2 and not 1. For some odd reason every time I try to do a nozzle check cassette 1 jams it prints fine when I print regular but the nozzle check jams all the time. I want to set it to cassette 2 but idk how😢

Every printer is different. Definitely try cleaning the print heads but you might need to adjust your color settings as well.

You can move the ink box over easily but starting a print and stopping it mid way by opening the top. Since it is mid print, the ink box will be loose.

That has never happened to me. Not sure what ink or printer you are using but you may need to contact customer support for your brand. Maybe they can assist you.

I get this as well! You have to align your print head, you do it vertically and horizontally. Sometimes it doesn’t help tho and I hate it but usually it does help
