Hi Katherine. I love your videos. I'm probably an uncle so I'll try to tell you something wise. Do you really own anything? Who are you waiting for to sit on that furniture and who are you waiting to see your art? Do not worry so much about things and deprogram your mind to focus on people you love including yourself. No one is judging you wrongly. You are doing and making a great job. Love you in a family way.

Loved your video, especially the part where you got out of the Qiangtang River's mud. Seeing you keep smiling in that situation really gave me a sense of peace and reminded me of my childhood experiences. Fun video! You should make rap music with the lady fruit hawker or hawkers from various regions of rural China. Relieved you survived the great mold invasion of 2024, without being eaten by the Mold Queen! I hope you travel widely on your return to the States and comment on the changes from six years ago. I live in the SFBA and if I were abroad for six years, I'd be shocked at the changes here, and not in a good way.

I was one of the viewers of your remodeling video who cautioned you about the mold problem in the humid south. Those rugs might have been treated with fungicide, which is good for a few years. Unless you have a dehumidifier running with all windows closed, mold will, I believe, eventually take over those rugs.
@kats_journey_east4 ай бұрын
This mold problem doesn’t exist in dry Kashgar , as far as I am aware they weren’t treated with anything because people don’t know that spontaneous mold is something that can happen at all 🍄 I’ll update you all about the mold again in a few years 🤣

Rugs do add character to your house. As for the occasional mold attack, would fans help? Of course, it's another household appliance that some may find "ugly" to be around. I do like Country Western music. Since Zhejiang province appears to be hilly, I would think Appalachian music would be "at home" there. I highly recommend "Songs of the Hills - Instrumental Impressions of Appalachian Classics" CD. My question for your upcoming Q & A video: Ask your aunt what she thinks of your interesting US map that shows Vermont being a part of the bigger region called "New York"? 😄 Are there places in China that have similar New England fall colors?

Against moisture you need air entry through your living room windows and air extraction in bathroom, loo, and kitchen. 2 cm clearance under doors to let air move. 35 m3/h of fresh air must enter and exit your home. You risk problems with your lungs (sarcoidosis).
