Get a taste of one of China's most mysterious regions: Inner Mongolia! 🐐 This is actually my 4th time in Inner Mongolia, but I've only ever visited in the spring/winter/fall so I've NEVER seen the legendary grasslands and this video is grass-free (sorry grass enthusiasts). However, there are many things in here that I would say are on par with grass in terms of excitement: uncles taking their birds for a walk at the street market, colorful architecture, one-of-a-kind local foods, (spoiler alert) a brief encounter with SHEEP! , and more. Welcome to my hometown Katherine. Everything in this video is sooo familiar with me. The Muslim place you visit is called Muslim District and that is one of the oldest districts in Hohhot. That bird & dog market is already being there even before I was born in 1981 and it was way bigger than nowadays. The maket is only a few miles from my home and my junior middle and high school 25 years ago. Good sweet memories. Thank you and hope you can visit different terrains in Inner Mongolia during all seasons.

内蒙古当地蒙古族，古代时他们擅长捕猎，他们也会训练猎鹰捕猎，不过现在猎鹰成为了国家保护动物，不允许驯养了，但是他们可以训练小鸟，而且训练的很棒。 有人可能会有不同意见，为什么不能驯养猎鹰，猎鹰是猛禽，有野性，会伤人，当然还为了更好的保护猎鹰种群，不能驯养，就没有买卖和捕捉

@@kats_journey_east 去四子王旗的格根塔拉草原吧，秋季去那里有一望无际的沙葱花草原，它太广阔了以至于你站在草原上向四周望都是一望无际！没有任何山没有任何树，除了草什么都没有，就好像你在大海上一样，只不过是草海，花海，远处的地平线是圆弧形的，因为地球是圆的，这是你在地球上任何地方都无法察觉的，大海虽然也一望无际，但是大海和蓝天是一样颜色的，所以你一样望去就是一片蓝色的混沌，分不清海平面和蓝天，但是草原不会它和天的界线颜色分明！如果你需要我可以给你提供一些照片。
