My maternal grandmother's parents were ethnic Germans who lived in Russia by Saratov along the Volga river for generations. Her cabbage rolls looked like yours. Miss her and her cooking! Your hot bread looked GOOD!

Belarusian cooking inspires me looks tasty those syrnik with творог. There is a store here which is for all Slavic shoppers in the region called Euro Gift & Deli. The main people who run the downtown location Buffalo NY location that I know pretty well by now they are Belarusian. Been shopping here for a few years and watching your awesome festival videos. I really like the ones you bake in tins which are like a dessert and then you do cream well I think you should try to come up with a good сирники торт recipe. It will be like syrnik but the cheese is baked into it so it will last a few extra days on the counter and you can actually my favorite is when you do this Belarusian cheesecake as the food item to hold caviar! I’m super into vegan food caviar being a food that has imitations much cheaper but if I was in Belarus and someone brought me a sack of fish eggs from a clean lake I’d have to prepare some salted икра of course. Looks fantastic. I also love your mother’s fake flower art it is quirky but so fun!

I enjoy these videos. Gardening is pretty much the same everywhere, but how people live and what they eat differs. Regarding the potato and meat dish at the beginning, grating the potatoes left a lot of liquid. Do you not squeeze that out before cooking?
