Its basically like a geological zit popping. Maybe im wrong, but she doesnt seem as pretty all cratered out as it is now. Whats crazy is it doesnt seem like it will be that long until its back to the way it was with a summit on top. I dont know anything about volcanoes, but it looks like a very active one. Constantly building. Wish I could live to see it a hundred and fifty years from now, and how she grows.

Pretty crazy statement. I know Harry didnt feel anything, but can you imagine the seconds before he was hit? Must have been incredible, and for Spirit Lake to be raised 150 feet after the eruption? Thats just an incredible thought as well.

I camp on this Mtn every year, Thankfully you didnt recycle the false claim of glaciers existing on the mtn.

Glaciers did exist on Mount St. Helens. Five were obliterated on May 18, four were truncated, and two survived.
