The thing that hurt the worst (added to knowing this shining light has gone out, sadly) was the short clip of the lovely Mrs. Heather Crawford speaking kindly of Anne and breaking down to a point where her fellow newscaster grabbed her hand to console her as she started to cry. That was heartbreaking. My continued condolences to Anne’s family, friends and colleagues. I still think of the family to this day. Anyone who stupidly believes in racist comments about Anne’s killer, I don’t want to hear it. I’m Caucasian myself but grew up to love everyone, no matter what race or beliefs.

@@stevieboy247 I'm glad you spoke what was on my heart. She had the world in front of her, and she was robbed of that. I'm glad justice was done because there person who did it was proven guilty. It won't bring her back, but justice was done.

I still remember that Saturday night Pamela Harris interrupted the college game to sadly announce the passing of Anne Presley. Just like Pamela Harris, I could barely hold back tears. I was in prison serving 17 years. I didn’t know Anne Presley but only by her time on air but this senseless act by that monster really did something in my soul. I didn’t follow the story out of sensationalism or anything like that. It was more because as dumb as this sounds coming from someone who was incarcerated at the time, I wanted to believe that there was justice for an innocent person who suffered a gruesome death. Fast forward several years later, I had the misfortune of being housed in the same barracks as that monster at the Tucker Unit. I didn’t know who he was, but the first time seeing him passed by my cell door gave me cold shivers and sense some dark energy, he was screaming something vile at the guards, and I immediately hated this person that turned out to be him. They gave him the wrong sentence because even being locked up, he’s still able to install fear on others and spew hateful things about Anne Presley. The facts are facts and it was proven in court and it was maddening to witness people, even prison officials believe his bs and still cast doubt about the whole crime. He was the barber and I refused to let him touch me and grew my hair out for a whole year and that whole year I vowed to one day honor Anne Presley in some way.

All I can say is, if it's true that Anne Pressley got involved with Jermain Taylor and ended up getting pregnant by him, she made a horrible mistake/choice, and she paid a terrible price for it.
