I always enjoy your videos, particularly when you're taking a trip I've done (this one) or want to (most of the others). Great to see your perspective on the Katy, and am also pleased it's so busy.

Thanks for sharing! I love that your dad is unfazed by the camera. He just does his own thing while you film! 😂

Very happy to see another one. I just did the Fred Meijer white pine trail here in MI this weekend. My first big bike packing trip. Can’t recommend it enough. Completely paved with so much scenery, breweries, camping etc. unbelievable ride and very flat. Is now an annual trip. Hope you do a video on it for a weekend getaway

Thank you for taking pictures of the food before you start eating it. That irritates me when bike packers munch on it for 10 minutes then take the damn pic 😂 nice adventure. Thanks for sharing

RV parks always charge so much to just pitch a tent. Oregon state Parks have hiker biker at every state park, and there is a lot of them, and they're only 8 bucks. I rode across the USA in 2012 and went thru the Ozarks. KATY trail looks awesome and flat! The Ozarks where beautiful, and I hit 60 mph on a quarter mile drop, fastest speed I hit all the way across the country.

Wow that is fast. I couldn’t agree more.

I’m hoping to ride the Katy Trail this fall, so thanks for the videos! I’m trying to decide about making daily camping reservations or just winging it some nights. How do you decide? I just don’t want to get caught out with nowhere to sleep at the end of a long day of riding.
@bikingbrian5 ай бұрын
We pretty much winged it except for the first night and last night in a hotel. It’s easy on the KATY if you are just camping to decide day of as long as you know where you can camp. Most of the town parks etc don’t have reservations and don’t have a limit.
