😮 JKM I forgot that I had ordered this from you way back in the middle of April shortly after it was introduced or announced! Since then I’ve done a bunch of stuff and just got back from 3 1/2 weeks in Europe. A couple of days ago it arrived. Not much to say about it except it is one of the most awesome and simple to use jigs I’ve ever bought. I had already bought a nice sled kit from one of your woodworking buddies on another channel. I will probably make a couple of more crosscut sleds of different sizes. But like you, the squaring drama was the part that always bothered me. Using your tool it was amazing. Thanks again so much for all you do for the community. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

brilliant Idea!! I'm in the process of making a 6' sled with a aluminum back fence. I want to make accurate corners for steamer chest. What I've come up with is using all thread on each end. One side achord the other floating until I get the back exactly perpendicular to the saw blade then I will anchor the back fence to the base of the sled. I can make slight adjustments to the nuts on the all thread to dial the back fence to the saw blade. This is the second one. the first sled was a test to make sure it stayed square.

Using Jonathan's kit (without the jig square) my first attempt using the five-step method gave me a final measurement of .0059"! I had to do it twice to be sure and it came out the same both times. Pure luck, but I think the quality of the Baltic birch fence in the kit is what made the overall squareness come out as it did. I'm take heart now knowing I can make cross cuts with full confidence that they are square.

I built my sled using UJK Parf guide dog holes. So I know it's super accurate (and so easy to mate the fence) But that tracksaw use case is very very intriguing. When you're breaking down, sheet goods, sometimes you can't use the square rail. Being able to square your cut in the middle of the sheet is genius! And I think you're one or two step/design away from being able to line up the track for straight cuts. @2:25 instead of a square cut, if you could but the track against the red/body part, you can guarantee the continuation cut of the tracksaw is straight.

Very innovative product. I would prefer to do the 5 cut method like you did in the Ultra Square Sled Video where in two tries you were out of square 0.001". That is crazy accurate.

Hey Jonathan I echo the comment below about your enthusiasm and as a result have placed an order for your jig. As I loath paying others generally, I believe that with a little creative thinking it would by helpful not only in aligning cross cut fences but also in aligning sliding table saw tables and even blade to saw table alignments and as a result is more than worthy of reward. I am less comfortable with the pitch that the jig is a way to bypass the 5 cut method. If one is not able to wrap their mind around that truly simple approach, perhaps wood working is not a natural fit.. Pythagoras agrees with me.
