This brings back memories. I've never actually stayed at the hotel but I love Lava Lava Beach Club. The happy hour Mai Tai's are so good. I'm actually debating coming back to Kauai to stay there next weekend and this was the first place to come to mind.

I know this will be a downer, but my exwife and I were there 3 years ago for our 1st anniversary, but within 1 week of returning, she left me 🤣😂 can laugh about it now

No! We couldn't find one Uber when we were there this year. We were at the mercy of the traditional taxis ($$$).

Did the Kauai Shore used to be the Kauai Sands?

Yes it was the Kaua’i Sands hotel part of the Maui Sands and Kona Sands hotel by the Kimi family.

I always stay here. Lava Lava their restaurant is great. Some of the evening staff? Not so great! No tip. No problem 😅🤙🌴🌺🐠
