What a great tour of the city. about how long was your walk? It’s a great tip to use the terrorism bureau to find information about buildings and sites to see. It’s one of our first stops if we haven’t planned what we’re doing in the city we are visiting.

Thanks 😀😀 We did the walk in town in just one day actually as Kaunas old town was rather small.. and the Ninth Fort museum we visited the next morning and I think about 2-3hours were sufficient for the museum complex 🙂🙂 And btw, it was not the terrorism bureau, it was the tourist bureau 😅😅 we also always try to find one as they can provide many useful info, and sometimes we can get handy city guide, like what we also did in Tartu, Estonia (kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKTYemyhm6hqatk) 😄😄

That dish is called apkepti cepelinai. Apkepti means fried, cepelinai is the actual name of the dish. I'm glad you liked the city. It's really underrated and in a shadow of Vilnius

Thanks for the name of the food. Now we can find ut back if we go to Lithuania again 😀😀😀 We like Kaunas, it's kinda small but charming. We really like the fact that it has a big pedestrian area. Also the city centre (around the town hall) is spacious. Lovely and cozy 😍😍
