Such beautiful execution. Incidentally this raag was Swamiji"s ( Swamy Vivekananda's one of the most fav ragas & today is His birth anniversary ). I see this as a humble offering by our beloved revered singer to Swamy ji on His birthday today. My deepest reverence prayers love and gratitude for all the participating musicians. 💐💐🙏🙏❤️

this event happens every year in dehradun around dusherra.. i was not fortunate to see n hear her live ... evn thought this event was jst 3 kms frm my house. just waiting for this year and hopeing mam blesses it with her soulful voice.

Ma'am, this was - what I call - a watershed rendition... one that doesn't happen every day with even the best of the best. For one, this was outside-in singing where every note, every phrase, every little construct was sung seemingly for the inner self detached and distanced from the joys and pains of mundane life. This is music that elevates the soul of the singer, and with it the souls of a myriad listeners, to inexpressible realms of ecstasy. This is probably what Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib meant when he termed the raag "yeh man ka kalyaan"... Yaman / Yaman Kalyan is a broad spectrum raag and can capture a wide range of moods from the deeply romantic to the deeply melancholic. Your rendition dwells on the deeply spiritual, as if in quest of finding one's own self. Another aspect that I cherished in this phenomenal rendition was the unique wholesomeness of your voice - rarely have I heard it so mellow and so rounded. Here on, probably, your singing takes on a new flight... to hitherto unexplored skies. Love and God-bless

Outstanding😍 I also was once in Dehradun after all my luggage got stolen in the train. First my bag with my Tabla and other stuff while I was sleeping in an (I thought) empty train and hours later my backpack while I wanted to buy water at the station in Lucknow. When I came to Dehradun I saw a Sadhu in the train who had more luggage than me😄
