I celebrated my 50th birthday, Just started to learn Hindustani classical from May23. Riyaz is going well but I was struggling with A ker practice. I am getting the technique now, will try my best to follow it. Don’t get time to practice besides full time job. An hour in the evening and half an hour in the morning. I had the rare privilege to interview Pandit Ajoy ChakrabortyJi on musical pedagogy at Mymensingh. It is unpublished but probably the most candid interview of Panditji. Panditji was so pleased that he blessed me and invited me to Kolkata to make a series of video-interview on this topic which covers the intricacies of taalim and riyaz. But unfortunately, that never happened due to my profession and I had to move to the US for higher education. You are doing an amazing job for the posterity! Rishith is such a bright kid and he will once be the torchbearer of Panditji's gaiki. You are documenting the "teaching method of Kaushiki Chakraborty" for the posterity. This series will be a real treasure! Thank you so much!

কিছুদিন আগে একটা ভিডিও তে দেখলাম পণ্ডিত অজয় চক্রবর্তী কৌশিকী ম্যাডাম কে সঙ্গীত শেখাচ্ছেন, রেওয়াজ করছেন দুজনে, আজ এই ভিডিও টা দেখলাম যেখানে কৌশিকী ম্যাডাম ওনার ছেলেকে নিয়ে সেই একই কাজে রত। সঙ্গীত শিক্ষায়। একেই বলে history repeats itself.. দিনগুলো কি তাড়াতাড়ি কেটে যায় ভাবতেও অবাক লাগে!
