The E5 unison could use some touch-up... but overall good tuning, lovely colorful tone with significant bass presence ❤ Can't go wrong with the entire GX Blak series.

Sounds like the construction of this piano would give a good amount of cabinet resonance. I always say that you can't beat a Kawaii for overall value. I practice on a Baldwin L at home and play a KG2 at the senior living center. I can always count on the KG2 to deliver. Fast forward 30 years and with Kawai's commitment to excellence and you have a winner of a piano.

Uploaded 3:05 intro to basic pitch spotify to get a midi output, but although I can recognize the piece, it sounds like a mixture of instruments, not like an acoustic piano. I understand audio2midi is very complex but It's fun to try. Static FFT allows to identify notes played or sounds of the whole piece. Dynamic FFT, identify notes along a time base is more complex.

My tuner was spitting all over the place over GX-7: he said it was about 65 grams on the keys and he had to sliver (is that how you say in english remove excess bulk from the hammers?) the hammers extensively to get to 52 on the subcontroctave and 47 in the 5th.

I notice the clarity and presence of the mid range. Kawai's can be a little nasal there. I'm sure the size helps but I'd like to here the same thing on the GX-2. Or something that highlights mid range chords.

If I have the space is it better to get something like a gx 7 or an sk 2/3 if the budget is around that area?

I like to go BIG! Currently I have the GX-2 60th anniversary beauty and am very happy with in...however in a year of 2 I want to upgrade to this beast of GX-7. The SK-7 is my ultimate dream piano but the price is beyond my budget at this point. How would you compare the GX-7 vs the SK-7?

That my friend, I struggled with in previous videos; GX-7 is a completely inspiring perfect piano....but then an SK-7 is even better...
