Started to realize while watching the video that I get around that same area every few weeks for work when I go between Springfield Missouri and Mountain Home Arkansas... Many times on the way back from Mountain Home I come up hwy. 201 to Gainesville and then take highway 5 through Ava and up to Mansfield... There is a roadside park I stop at almost every time on hwy 5 just south of Mansfield near where Bryant Creek starts... I see that it flows all the way south into Lake Norfork..

Hey John, congrats on the new bike. A single cylinder, 300#, thumper makes for a really nice backwoods bike. They feel like feathers compared to the big twins. I have a very similar setup on my DRZ, also added a larger fuel tank and a kick starter. I also run the tusk d-sports, while I like the rear, the front gets a little loose at high speed. May change it to a 606 next time. I think you'll really enjoy that bike in the back country.

Great bike, excellent modifications! Perfect tool for your job. I have a DRZ400 setup similar, way better on an all day off pavement ride vs my R1200GSA. A tip on the risers, consider some offset ones kicked forward- for me on my DRZ it really opened up the cockpit as my arms felt a bit cramped.

Hello there sir, good to hear from you... You will have a great trip down 19 for sure.. 19 is probably the most scenic hwy in the Ozarks... There are lots of stops along the way... You might consider checking out the Rocky falls Shut-ins just east of Eminence and Alley Springs just west of Eminence on hwy 106. when you get down below Winona there is the Fallin Spring Mill and for sure hike down and see the Greer Spring at the Greer Spring Trailhead just north of Alton. Happy trails and thanks for watching... :)

The new bike looks great and it definitely is always nice to have something lighter weight out in the woods. Curious how much extra weight there is between the tank bag and the luggage on the rear? Also amazes me how these manufacturers put on low quality seats when I think it matters more on a motorcycle than it does in a vehicle where the seats are so much larger and you don't have to straddle them.
