A little knowledge on the Kawasaki TFT gauges and how to change some of the settings. If you know something other than what's shown. Please post up in the comments. Thanks for watching!!!!! freeroyaltyfreemusicfrombensounds

You can run any head unit for your audio. Your Bluetooth will connect to your krx and whatever music device at the same time pretty cool but ride command still has everybody beat.

Another thing of note is that the mph is off with the factory Carnivores and is even further off using the dial gauges you like best as well as do I. Mine was off by 6-7 mph faster than my actual speed. Threw on some 35's and BAAM! Spot on. Not sure if the same rings true of the regular dash cluster on the non-eS models.

All really good info! Thank you.

It would be nice to set the rear camera to show on the screen when it’s in reverse. Thanks for the video.

Sucks having to toggle it on manually, but if you add the center touchscreen it does bring up the rear camera when you shift into reverse.

I have a 2022 KRX 1000 SE with standard gauges is this plug and play? Can we upgrade to the new style? They were available for my year, but did not come on my model only on the ES model.

As far as I understood they are not interchangeable.

You cannot change anything whilst driving, have to be at a near stop. If you had the center info touchscreen then yes, you can change things on the fly. Also when using front or rear eS cameras you can toggle between the two and leave them on while driving, but that's almost useless. Also if you have the rear camera it does NOT automatically shift the screen to show the reverse camera... the center touchscreen display will. The TFT you and I have alone needs to have the camera toggled manually to bring it up on screen. To reset the trip odometer, which is useful if you haven't done Jake's fuel sending unit mod, you can reset it only at a standstill by pressing and holding the select button until the miles flash, then hold down the return button until it resets and you're golden. Not the best user interface in the world but not the worst. Adding the expensive center touchsceen opens up options. If I had it I'd probably leave the center touchscreen display displaying the shock activity or perhaps a camera. Touchscreen is obviously easier to navigate as well. Just costs too dang much, and you still have to pay extra for the new center touchscreen dashboard.

Aooooo....your saying that I can add front and rear camera's and have it show up on my gauge cluster? Dealership is saying I have to have the touchscreen to do this. Would like to add camera's but can't afford the touchscreen.
@Bizill752 жыл бұрын
@@klanehill8266 You have to manually toggle the cameras on the steering wheel screen. Does not come on automatically when shifting in reverse. You have to choose the camera as the main screen if you want to drive with the camera on full time and you can toggle between front and rear cams on the fly with the up/down button but to be honest, it's not the most useful. Rear cam would be useful if it came on in reverse when shifting to back up.

Ok. But I'm wondering if the camera's work with the gauge cluster or do I have have the touchscreen. My dealer says I have to install the touchscreen to make the camera's work. That's out of my budget currently. Just curious. Thank you

@@klanehill8266 Dealer is smokin' crack. I only have the main screen but one day when I grow a pair I'm gonna have the touchscreen as well. Yes, cameras work on any eS model's steering wheel screen. No touchscreen needed. The wire harness already has provisions for front and rear cams electrical taped to keep them safe until you add cameras.

Unless Kawasaki locked them out on the 4 seater eS, your dealer is smokin' crack. Mine is 2021 2 seater eS.

Agreed. But they've had time to perfect it longer than others.

So.....I have the Special Edition 4 seat. My Android phone will not connect to the dash. It will connect to the hyphonics Bluetooth but not the gauge cluster. Any suggestions?

@@klanehill8266 I'm not sure on that my iPhone does it but try forgetting device on your phone and pairing your phone to the dash first then connect it to the audio system
