I went on a ride today made it a block away from my house when I felt my bike jerk as I started giving it gas and it cut off it wouldn’t start back up I put it in first gear pulled the clutch in and tried walking it and it was stiff bike didn’t want to move also I noticed the kickstarter was gradually getting stiff does this happen when the clutch has gone bad

Between each clutch plate your a re installing silver scolored serated discs. Are they part of the clutch kit?, Do they all go in the same way ? My KLX250S has a gasket between the case and the cover plate. Is it not necessary to replace it?

Is it really this easy? I'm looking into a clutch in the off season. I'm worried about messing up the order or installing backwards since it's my first time. Any pointers?

It truly is. A good tip is to take video of you removing the clutches so in case you would forget where something goes you can check the video dude!

heck yeah man. the guy b4 me had a 2012 tank and air box so it has 2012 plastics on it so i’m having to switch it back to a 14. which one has more power in your opinion? i think the 14’ has a beefy look but the 17’ looks slipstream

I changed mine and mine is still having troubles accelerating when I give it gas, it'll be in first gear and it sounds like its in 3-4th gear. Cannot figure out what it is ! its a 2023 kx250, this guy is trying to make me rebuild everything. saying it could be pistons, crankshaft etc. when I changed oil I had metal bronze shavings in it also in my oil filter
