Go to Home Depot, buy two fans to put in front of the Dyno room and just open the garage door to the outside. Forget about the big fans till you get the insulation fixed. Crazy stuff. Glad you figured out what it is. I would also wear a filter mask. If it is in the air your breathing it.

I just got my ECU back from Moore Mafia for my 2013 ninja 1000 and I'm so F@##ing happy with it!! First off all I sent it from across the west and the next day before I could get a chance to check my tracking number to see that they received it, BaMn! A tracking number from them saying it was already on its way back to me!!! I just plugged it in and holy $4iT!!! I love it!!!! Thank you guys!!

I’ve had noticed dust flying around on past dyno vids. Thought maybe it was outside dust blowing in. I’ve got the same bike to a point That’s a z1000 sx. Same motor and chassis and frame. It’s called a ninja tho because it’s part of the ninja family. It’s a fun bike. Those horsepower gains are typical and spot on. Kawasaki rated it at 154hp with 114torque. Mine has the eBay $150 stainless steel header exhaust and sc project slip ons sc-1 mufflers. It’s got a good throatie sound. The highest hp numbers I’ve seen on pump gas is 146 with black widow exhaust and dyno tuning. Thanks mr moore.

Love the symmetry of dual exhaust. I own a Z1000 which is a close relative and would like to address the rideability of the bike a little bit. Mainly, the throttle cutoff. A bit more midrange would also be nice.

I had a ninja 1000 with full system and filter. Dyno tuned and flashed 138hp and 79ft tq. Can't wait to see the results.

Grab a roll of carpenter tape slap it onto the insulation its a patch but hold up very well. But yeah for what you do spray insulation would be perfect for your shop.

Keep the big fans off and put a few portable fan in the open doors, just till you have the insulation fixed. Better a little outside dust then insulation.

Damn man i bought a 2019 1000sx, got the ECU flashed, the sprockets changed for quicker acceleration, high flow air filter, slip on exhaust and now I’m looking to decat the exhaust wit new headers too and a tune. But is it really worth it when all it does is gain 3-4hp? How do I get this bike to wheeelie in 1st or 2nd by just giving it throttle

One thing I’ve noticed from your recent videos is that the sound of you talking (especially in the dyno room) is terrible. You really need to invest in a wireless microphone to take it to the next level.

You can temporarily buy a box of poly plastic and tack it up over it and that'll keep it from falling down on you I worked with that shit all the time hanging drywall, anyways great videos!

It really wouldn't. This engine makes a lot more power than the zx10 does, under 8000 rpm. The zx10 males more, after that, but only at high revs.. Not what you want in a street bike.

Fibromyalgia is serious so while a mask helps in the room that insulation needs to be sealed so while customers and employees are in the building they aren’t breathing in microscopic fiber glass particles that attach to the lungs and do irreversible permanent Damage!!! We won’t even talk about the asbestos. I suggest plastic 4mil sold in the 100 foot rolls. Lasts years and years. Hell im sure me and some of subscribers would even be willing to donate some of our time to get it done. Last thing we need is Chris getting 😷

There’s a shop here in Arizona who have had my bike for three months. It’s a turbo Hayabusa once I get it back after paying over $3000 in labor since it’s a turbo rebuild and most all parts transferred over to the new engine, I’m pretty tempted to transport it to SC to your shop not caring that it’s 2000 miles away. I just want someone who is honest and bout that life working on my bike. Not some some scam artist nickel and diming me to death. It’s has BTS wheels a ton of brocks performance parts etc way to many to list.

146 out of my 2014 z1000 wth arrow headers, a single exit akra and a k&n. Ive done an airbox mod so mines going back to the dyno. I think you should definately be seeing more than that.... Im hoping for another 5 after the airbox mod but its experimental so no idea what will happen....

That because of the 4:2:2 exhaust system you get better power out of the 4:2:1 exhaust system. We got 12 hp out of a full akrapovic system everything else stock on bike

But nothing from airbox mod itself. I wonder if I'm maxed out on airflow with filter. What forum are you on so I can follow for updates?

If woolich offers it, I can do it. Most of the older bikes, dont' have many options in the ecu though. Mainly just fuel and ignition.

If I may Chris, help answer this for you. Sir if you research, Torque Reaction, or Shaft Effect, it will help you understand a little better why drag racing a final drive, shaft driven motorcycle is not the best of scenarios. Is it possible, yes. Many a Yamaha V Max were successful raced over the years, but the higher horsepower ones were converted to chain final drive. I believe in the mid 80z, a brilliant Engineer/Dentist, no kidding, designed a Cantilever rear suspension/drive shaft for Moto Guzzi, that was very successful at "nearly" eliminating all of the Torque Effect, even when used for Road Racing. In drag racing, the issue of loading and unloading of the suspension, can borderline hazardous. Then Sir, there's the issues of breakage, expense, and yes Parasitic Loss with the shaft drive that simple makes it almost impractical for motorcycle drag racing. Not impossible, just impractical. Hopefully that gets you started, SARGE.
