I would be more interested in long-term reliability and maintenance if i was gonna buy a cfmoto for the long haul... maybe as a beginner bike its ok since most beginners dont keep them long... but they do seem to have all the bells and whistles for sure.
@MotoXiety26 күн бұрын
I think long term they have been doing alright, people seem to really love the 450ss and it’s been out for awhile now. I haven’t heard any major complaints

In the looks Department I still think the CF Moto is absolutely the best looking bike. Though the Ninja 500 does look pretty decent. I have yet to ride either one of the two so I have no real world experience with either. I can also say that the CF Moto hands down wins for sound as well. Currently have the R3 and would love to try out the CF Moto 450ss. Everyone's worried about the reliability of the CF moto, but they don't understand that CF Moto has been building KTMs motors for years. Then you got everybody worrying about whether or not there's any aftermarket support. Well yep there's tons of it. You just have to do a little bit of searching on the internet. Anything you can think of exhaust this that the other it's all there. Not that you need much more added to the bike, as it comes with more options than any of the other bikes out there. But hey you want those pretty brake levers, rear sets, or whatever, it's all out there

I personally prefer CFMOTO motorcycles. If I want to buy a four-cylinder motorcycle, I can choose the 500SR. If I want to buy a three-cylinder motorcycle, I can choose the 675SR. The latest 2024 450SR has also been released. It has improved some configurations, such as adding TCS, updating Bosch’s tenth generation ABS, etc. The price has been reduced from the old model’s US$4,666 to US$3,830. The 450SR has increased configurations and lowered the price. It has a good reputation around the world and is very attractive. I can't find any faults.

I really love a lot of the bikes CFMOTO has, unfortunately they are a little hard to find in the US but I’m hoping to get my hands on a couple of them at some point to be able to actually review them.

In Italy the price of the 500 is about 1k euro lower than the latest 400 which I think is great. I just love ninja 400 design and i'm torn between getting a used one or a brand new 500. I looked up every website available in my country for used motorcycles and people are selling the 400 at the same price as the 2024 500.. I guess it's better to just buy a new bike and that point.. waiting too see it irl and maybe i could even like it better!

thank you for this vid, really helped me get an idea. I was actually planning to get a ninja 400 but when i heard it was discontinued and getting replaced by the 500 i was quite devastated. Considering all the aspects of the ninja 500 it just didn't really sit right with me that they are calling it a 500 with only 451cc and not any different from the 400. Prices for a krt edition which is actually not so different than the much cheaper 450ss surprised me cuz it just seemed like now that the 400 is gone the cfmoto might become the first pick for me. The ninja 400 discontinued so you will only be able to get it with a dealership that still have a 2023 in their inventory. The base model non-se ninja 500 still uses the regular key with a LCD screen instead of a TFT but the LCD screen on the base 500 is way better than outdated 400 dash , if you do end up going with the ninja 400 I recommend trying to find one slightly used so you don’t have to pay for freight/build cost which can rage for an additional $1000-2000 on top of the MSRP depending on the dealership

So funny how almost EVERY reviewer says 'beginner' bike. Then says, I prefer riding it over my liter bike for the following reasons... ya da ya da, LOL. So what do you call all the other bikes? It's like saying 'I know I am on a punk bike, but I own the real deal, but I like riding the punk bike better most days. because, well.....I'm a punk" . Mr Hayes can destroy most veteran riders on those 'beginner' bikes, while they try to ride their 'big boy bikes'. Geez, call it what it really is, 'an affordable real to life' motorcycle, leave off 'beginner" already. Also, so many reviewers say they like a dumb bike vs high tech, makes sense to value looking at a display and fiddling with setting, vs riding it like a champ. (sarcasm).

Kawasaki's had the KIPass on the Concours for years and it's widely regarded as a major negative and the worst thing on the bike. I bought an FJR1300 in part to avoid useless and gratuitous technology like that.
