It's time to start upgrading!
In this video I begin upgrading my 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 with the Stage 3 goodies I purchased from Extreme Creations. This consists of swapping two 23 tooth supercharger gears, along with installation of an intercooler. This video is part 1 of 4

It does not. I recall reading about people attempting it a while back. Big fail. Something could have changed since then but unlikely.

Curious? Y stage 3? Y not 2 or 4?

Good question. Well, I thought about it like this. Nearly the same amount of work goes into the supercharger gears for both options. I can't remember exactly which gear gets changed but for Stage 2, it's a single gear. For Stage 3, its both gears. If I'm already in there, why not do both? The install isnt difficult but it can labor intensive and expensive if you arent doing the work yourself. Also, if I ever decided to upgrade again, I'd have to pay for additional tuning time, which isn't cheap. The HP jump from stock to Stage 2 is impressive but the tuning potential from 2 to 3 MASSIVE! Why not just do 3 from the start? As for Stage 4, I understand that the gearing ratio could allow the supercharger to spin faster than it was intended. I didn't feel like having my supercharger blowing up. Not to say that it would, but I think the Stage 4 option is a niche upgrade. This was just my thought process. Right or wrong, I went with what would make me the happiest. 🤙

@@Ksix1 I am thinking of getting the stage 4 and still inclined to that. Given where i live, i dont ever expect to redline and this would be the best bet to feel more power in the lower rpm. Thank you very much for your detailed thought process reply and your install videos. Have been very handy in my works as well. My next 2 projects in Q are crank case breather and reverse shift without changing rearsets. If you have any unique projects, do share.

Hey, I'm curious if you noticed any intermittent rattling out of the supercharger area (after the stage 3 gears) when the bike was already warmed up and at idle. I'm noticing some intermittent rattling/buzzing out of mine but as soon as you give the bike a little throttle it goes away.

Buzzing or rattling? Nope. Can't say that I did.

@@Ksix1 hey one other quick question my bike has all the upgrades you have how did you add the boost Guage

@@coreyfaltus2163 It's the AEM 52mm digital boost guage from Extreme Creations. I didn't do a video on it because it was such an easy install 😅. Looks intimidating when you open the box but SUPER simple. I had the analog guage originaly but added the digital later.

@@coreyfaltus2163 Check out the part 2 video. @0:41 you will see the top of the airbox. To the left of the fuel line heading into the fuel rail you can see 4 other connections. 3 are electrical and 1 is a thin rubber vacuum line. The other end of that connects to the back of the boost guage.
