I don't think you need to go much over 60 mph on motorcycle anyway but using like 10 kw continuous motor would get you easily to do 60 mph all the time but getting 100 miles of range even at 50 mph needs 12 kwh pack and that requires frame that can support battery of that size. Battery swapping can fix range issue quite well but you still want like 3x 2 kwh swappable packs so you can have nice high peak power also and you can drive that 60 mph from one swapping station to the next. In city riding you can just keep one battery and have reduced weight where you don't need huge power or range. I would say that increasing power and range wouldn't cost than more than $2k.

These will bring confusion to our government as to where they will fir in our stupid licence catagories, definately two to pass over oh well still going to be riding my gas bike and just have my Mazda electric car dumb, dumb and dumber.

Okay so I live 20 miles from work and im actively working on trying to figure out how to save money. Now I have 2 other motorcycles, I live in an apartment with my shop down the street. I can theoretically buy one of these on loan and pay 120$/month (with bad interest). but I already spend more than that to drive to work with my truck. And my Harley (that is in parts) will require a fill up every time I go to work. But this would require a charge when I get home... a location I intend on already being when getting off work. If I got a saddle bag with another battery and charger just in case, and maybe even throw one of those portable solar panels on the seat when Im working for 10 hours, it almost would be stupid for me NOT to buy this. Accounting for wear and tear on my cars and other bikes, and I can always just take another vehicle to work the next day....

I want to give you a couple examples of why these aren’t even great for people in the city. I have a 2.4 mile city commute and have a KTM Duke 200 that costs $4000 new. The city Duke can do 75mph and has 260 miles of range on a tank. There are also electric bike options with similar capabilities to this Ninja in the $4000 range that also skirt traffic laws. You aren’t required to get license plates or insurance. You can ride in bike lanes. You can park them inside offices and on sidewalks and nobody gets upset. This Ninja is not a good option for anyone. It’s not a premium option but it has a premium price tag(nearly double) compared to similar transportation.

Sadly 40 mile range and 55mph max speed is a HUGE disappointment especially coming from Kawasaki that’s slower than a scooter but the scooter gets far more range. The Zero and a few other E motorcycles are way faster and have far more range even from the base model entry bikes. Whoever let this happen at Kawasaki should be considered a joke. This should’ve at least been able to have 100 mile range and hit 120-130mph. Either they’ll be providing upgrades for this or making a better version in the future but this is honestly a joke. Can’t wait to see what Honda does with their CBR-E versions as well as Yamaha. This is a huge disappointment you can’t even take that on the highway and most here are 75mph limits.

This while being cheaper and smaller and lighter so they can be ridden on bike paths, trails and routes without drawing negative attention. Once a maker crosses into street use only territory they need to offer a product that can be useful for all road and highway use in speed and a range of at least 75 miles so commuting and common short trips are doable.

Wow, a very expensive waste of money! I have the Super Soco TC Max and I can get 55mph out of that. Says it should do 60mph but not with me on it! Removable battery at 72v 45amp hour will get me to work about 25miles with about 15miles range left. So charge it at work in 3.5hours, all that for £3400!!! These Kawasaki bikes are starting at £7900 in the UK! Why on earth did they even bother?

52mph!? You need at least 80 mph for highway, and the range is trash.

44 miles? Lmao! That's horrendous. And it's not like they can lean on fast charging like a tesla can.

"Fast" charging? "Fast" charging 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 these electric car people are the biggest liars. Fast charging is slow as balls compared to pumping gasoline

Kawasaki.....too little, too late. They have to do way better than this. Minimum for commuter sustained 65 passing 75 mph. Need at least 100 mile range. Swappable battery us ok if reasonable capacity.

These motorcycles are not worth it for the price, range and speed, I prefer fuel ⛽️ bikes for speed range and charging it in less then 2minutes.

For adult riders these are pretty much useless for the price. For a sixteen year old this is perfect.
