Are the spring loaded rollers meant to lock onto the flywheel collar?

Yes, only in one direction.

@@thedragon2299 Thanks for that, I've replaced the rollers but it still won't engage so thanks to your video I'm thinking it's time to look at the flywheel collar for wear 👍

@@jarrodhepi5831 yeah, about 50% of the people say that the rollers did not do it for them either. There is alot of good information on the forums. I remember googling the parts and all these forums popped up about this problem, and it wasn't just the kz 750, it was alot of different Kawasaki bikes, but many other manufacturers have had their share of problems with similar designs. Good luck with it, I know it's a pain in the ass, but you will get through it!

What I was working on was the starter clutch. The gear is the starter gear.
