South of Archer River Roadhouse there is a great little section of bitumen that runs along the top of a ridge through a section of large boulders and rock outcrops. It's a fast section of sweeping bends and is very enjoyable to ride. The new bridge over Archer River should be completed this year if the Wet Season doesn't start early. The Peninsula Development Road is getting tamer and tamer every year we go back. The road has changed a lot even in the five years we have been going to The Tip.
