Never in a million years (Ha!), would I trust any bit of humanity, high speeding between lanes (scariest ride I ever had was as passenger in heavy L.A. freeway traffic, just low speed, but waiting for someone to pull out and kill us (smile). Love the wind in the face, though...cruiser style. Stay safe! This video was as a coaster ride for real.

I like the nice quiet exhaust. I guess this is the parallel twin used in the Ninja 500. Is that stock exhaust?

For all those people ripping on this guy for not having the speedometer cable attached, it's probably not what you think. I have a Vulcan 500 LTD and the speedo cable becomes detached easily. In the about 2000 miles I've had the bike, I've had to reattach it twice. It would also explain why the screw to hold the speedometer down is missing and replaced with a bicycle brake pad. It would take less than five minutes to fix. As for the the lane splitting, there's a safe way to do it, and then there's this guy.

can you please hellp me. I bought vulcan few days ago, and yesterday mine speedometer stop working, . what i must do? Where speedo cable is detached, on weel or under the speedmeter.

It's actually very safe in Ireland as all drivers are taught the concept of motorcycle lane splitting during driver training no matter what vehicle they intend to drive. Car drivers are always mindful of bikes and bikers stick to safe speeds while doing it. A lot of car drivers over here actually prefer if motorcycles lane split over here as it reduces congestion and increases overall traffic flow. Motorcycles also have access to bus lanes and are generally allowed in advanced stop areas, meaning they can filter to the front of the queue at traffic lights. I can see why you would be against it in the US as some drivers would see it as motorcyclists skipping the queue and may act to intervene suck as tightening a gap or opening a door etc, but as it's ingrained in all drivers training over here the attitude and demeanour is completely different and more accommodating to the practice.

Dude - take a look at the traffic. It's the whole reason to ride a motorcycle ..
