@@mototop_ Maybe with a taller gearing it is possible. The power tops out between 9.000 and 10.000 rpm. When you’re doing 235 GPS the engine is already at 10.500 where the power has begun to drop of. Any way I think it’s a bit optimistic to claim 240 from a naked bike with only 125 hp. I mean you got 240 out of the ZX6R which has a bit more power and a full fairing. I suspect a lot of brands just take whatever speed they’re certain that the bike can put on the display, regardless of the rider, and say that it’s the real top speed.

@@MachoMadness69420 but the ZX-6R has a very short gear ratio and its revs are limited in 6th gear. That's why it not get faster. But I really guess I could reach 240 at the Z900 if I get another chance :)

Thanks :) I already asked a Zero dealer for a testride, but he wanted me to pay for the "wear" that happens due to full acceleration. Maybe I get one from another dealer....but it's not so easy.

@@mototop_ That’s crazy. If their bikes are so bad that the dealer wants you to pay for the wear caused by full acceleration, why would anyone even buy a bike like that in the first place? I’m mean it’s basically the dealer saying that the bike has poor longevity.

This is approximately 116 wheel horsepower at the top. Aftermarket tuning gets 128 wheel horsepower at the top. I bet it would run out of gearing before it ran out of power. Probably well past 150 mph. On the Autobahn of course.

The most I got out of a tank was 320 km. It was very close to empty when I filled it up. I guess about 17 km/l (5.9L/100 km) is pretty normal for me. Of course if you go full throttle all the time it will use much more. Mine is a 2021 btw.
