I have the 2020 Cafe in the Kawasaki green, white, and black color theme. Bright colors are right up my alley. The bike is just a blast to ride. I put 20mm handlebar risers on mine and it made it perfect.

Recently took delivery of my Z900RS Cafe in vintage green and am loving it! Agree with your comments mostly, the bike does everything I ask of it and more. I got the centre stand and a standard seat for two up riding as accessories and found my bum appreciated the bigger flatter seat. I am 59 and ride regularly with wifey on the back as well as solo with the lads which is when I fit the cafe seat back on. Thank you Kawasaki for a great machine that does remind me of my younger days on Z1's in the 70's and 80's. P.S my 2001 Super Blackbird xx is getting sadly neglected now the Z900 is in the shed!

Kawasaki green was a bit too much for me so got the only other colour ie grey . Enjoying it so much I’ve done 4000km in one month and my 1200GS is gathering dust. Agree with review except riding position is fine for me - including 400+km rides - and I’m 71. Centre stand and grab handles accessories essential for touring.

Gday John, thanks for the message. Yes the green is strong, next year the grey with a green stripe is coming and it looks great. I'm glad you are loving it. Congratulations on your purchase. I hope you enjoy it for many years to come. Rob

Hey John, how do you find the bike for touring?
@johnoswald50933 жыл бұрын
@@zman4116 sorry I missed your post. Been using it for many 2-4 day trips. I use the SW-Motech Blaze pannier bag system which fits and works great on Z900RS Cafe together with small tank bag. Can provide more details if you wish.

I drove the dealer mad trying to get mine asap when they first came out. In short it's an awesome machine, it's way better than me for sure. I'm 50 now and really like the riding position, I actually thought the seat and riding position was more comfortable than the jaffa model. I did change the stock exhaust, my friends complained you couldn't hear it until I was past them, so went with an SC Project. Now you can hear it but it not an obnoxious sound at all. Starts to sound like a race bike above about 4,000 rpm. Well done Kawasaki, loving your work!

Loved the review. A number of your followers comments mirror what I’m thinking & my position. I’ve got a GS for touring & a 1994 ZR 750 Zephyr. Beautiful looking bike, but it’s old technology. I think you’ve sold me on this spiffy looking green machine.

Gday Russel, yes to be honest if I had the cash I'd be buying this of the Z900rs Jaffa, but I am looking at the Royal Enfield 650cc Continental GT just released as it's only a once or twice a month sort of bike and only 10k

The Kawasaki Z900RS C is the only bike I've ever owned that I didn't feel need or want to modify & customise apart changing the stock tyres. Kawasaki just got it right.

@ThrottleDownunder5 жыл бұрын
What bars did you install? And yes I agree, out of the box it's amazing
@weaselman245 жыл бұрын
@@ThrottleDownunder I went for flat drag bars with a slight sweep to get my weight over the front a bit more. I also changed the rear spring for a stiffer one because I ride fast 2 up. I also want to change the rear sets as for me there are a little too low and the grind fairly easily.

I’ve got the standard Jaffa, yes the seat is hard at first but mine has softened after 8,000 kms, and you get a more comfortable riding position on the standard bike than the Cafe, that’s my opinion anyway. My poor old Harley is gathering dust, this bike is so much better to ride!
@ThrottleDownunder6 жыл бұрын
I'm so happy you are loving it. I'm a Harley Fan but I think I'd choose the Jaffa over the Harley too. Thanks do much for the message. Ride safe and have a great Christmas

@ThrottleDownunder5 жыл бұрын
Hi there Ronan, I think size wise you will be comfortable, no problem at all. My only concern would be the forward lean on body position. Personally I prefer the body position on the Z900RS over the Cafe, as it's more upright, but it does mean you don't get the fairing

No reviews ever cover a pillion even though these bikes are aimed at everyday riding. Would the RS saddle be better than the cafe for comfort?

@ThrottleDownunder5 жыл бұрын
G'day Eric, this is a great bike, but it is a little tall. I think there is a lower seat to install, but I highly recommend you sit on one at your local dealer before you get your hopes up. I'm 5'10 and I'm on the balls of my feet.
@photographerjonathan4 жыл бұрын
You want the other color in a cafe racer, but I would like the windscreen added to the RS model, I like the more upright seating position, and the seat it comes with, and the nice paint, but I have to say, I went to the dealer a few days ago, and all they had was the green cafe racer, and the more I looked at it, the more I liked how it looked, I have never been into the Kawasaki green, but this bike has kind of changed how I feel about the color, because it works so well on this model, how much does the bike cost in Australia in 2020 ? and has there been any updates since the bike first came out ?
