Currently toying between the Tuono V4 Factory and the ZH2. I was very impressed with the ZH2 on a test ride this week, the performance is insane but VERY usable. Totally agree the bike can be ridden slowly without constantly egging you on to go fast. You only feel the ZH2 weight when maneuvering and I personally feel that the weight helps the ride on the often bumpy UK roads. Feels a well made bike and does everything to a good standard, the brakes are also very strong with great feel considering they are not the top spec Brembo's. The Tuono was very exciting to ride though and feels much more at home pushing on into the twisties. The noise is addictive for sure and the performance being much less (relatively) also makes you feel like you can get on top of it which is very rewarding - No chance on the ZH2! The thing that most puts me off the ZH2 is my intention to do the occasional track day, the suspension would not support the bike well enough when you are flat out on track IMO. The front headlight design is a close second but then who cares when you have a SC 1000cc between your legs..

I sold my 2020sdr for the zh2 cos I was just bored of vtwins. I had the 2019 sdr previously and had done the v4 thing before that. Knowing I own a supercharged bike is a game changer for wanting to go out for a quick blast. I love how it doesn't try to be a pretty bike. Try too hard and it ends up looking fusy. The SF is trying to hard. This just doesn't give a shit. Its futuristic and matches its character

was obvious since the first launch videos it wasn't going to be a beast like the 1290SDR. but as you rightly say, it's a different type of bike and will appeal to a different type of rider. do you feel it would be too much for the chassis and brakes given it the full 250+bhp? it's not as if it will help it much in the corners only the straight line end of the day.

Chops, Maxx Moto have just tested the new SuperDuke against the latest Tuono and the Ducati V4S Streetfighter. The result will surprise you who wins. Great first impressions of the ZH2 by the way. The Kawasaki is clearly a different type of road naked to the lighter more agile usual suspects. It's more relaxed and softer and probably will make a great tourer and everyday bike [even though it's supercharged].

On European roads this would be my choice of boosted Kawasaki's. Nicely presented L.C., no bad bikes around, just lots of choices. I like the dual sided s.arm, never liked the weight, cost and complication of the s.sided arm - Ducati race arms cost a fortune to alter wheelbase, on a conventional arm you just go forward or back in the adjuster slot and fit a different chain, job done - give me the adjustabiliy, price/weight saving

hmm, given choice of that or H2, I think is a no brainer bearing in mind cost savings for performance and all round usability. In fact, that supercharger does not just come in mid range, but is there from low down - which you should know - its mechanical and geared to the engine the moment that engine starts spinning.....and other videos comparing it with the Super Duke say as much. I think you're in for a shock when you do the comparison and get to know the settings better.

Some of the H2 models, mine a 2022 being one of them. Push oil up though the crank case vent tube into the intake runner upstream of the supercharger. Given my aggressive riding style after 400 miles I have oil dripping out of the intake runner onto the floor. Kawasaki will not acknowledge the problem so they have no fix for the problem. My ZH2 is at the Kawasaki dealer were they are clueless as to the source of the problem. Tearing into my engine blindly. My advise, the bike is a rocket and despite being over 500 lbs. you can still run it though the corners fast enough you will wear your tires from edge to edge. Hold off on purchasing an H2 until Kawasaki has a fix for the problem.

Nice vid. It's definitely an interesting & novel bike & it even looks ok in that colour scheme but it's still not pretty by a long shot. The showpiece is undoubtebly the engine & as you say, why people will buy it but how much of it can you really use? Although I suppose you could say the same of many bikes these days I guess. It's definitely cool but it's just a bit too heavy & bit too ugly to shell out that sort of money for it imo.
