I think there's only 2 blokes I would ever go pillion with & that's you & Andy GSA Tractor, But the whole me wrapping my arms around yous, clinging on for dear life, wouldn't help either of your inages!!! 🤣😂👍

Thank you John for your vote of confidence, whilst I admit you may have to cling on for dear life let's keep the wrapping for Christmas. I wear an Oxford Rider belt with two handles, you'd need arms like an Orangutan to reach round my waist anyway 😂 I'm beginning to suspect riding pillion is the only way you're going to experience the exhilaration of being a a Big Boy Bike 😧😲😁

@@greywolf9292 underwhelming... Yes probably, but I like the idea of basic training....I think everyone should have to take a MSF course 🤷♀️👍. Have to start somewhere! 🤗

Yes :) Back on the ZZR love it ! The laughter of fear aw the speed increases :) Have you ever really opened that thing up on your own?
@greywolf9292 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍 To answer your question, Yes..and..No 😏 to really open her up would require a track day and to be honest it isn't the best bike for track, corners require a bit of work. I have let us say made " Good Progress" on a clear road. The bike is capable of licence loosing speeds at just 4,000 revs but the real fun doesn't begin untill between 7 & 8, beyond that I think you'd need a runway 😯😮😁

Riding pillion is something I don't perticularly like doing, I like to be the one in charge of the throttle. But I can totally understand the reaction from your passenger. And for sure if / as you open it up to its full potential there would be smiles for Miles. Perfect roads for a bike like that. Keep them wheels rolling. And the videos comming. Cheers

My wife loves riding pillion having been brought up in the Philippines where motorcycles are a popular mode of public transport. My son although Eighteen at the time had never ridden pillion, his first encounter on the Rocket 3 GT sort of gave him " The Bug". A week later he found out the ZZR takes off where the Rocket left off. I never have not never would opened either bike up to their full potential, a runway would be the only safe option for such frivolity. Sure I use a bit of the bikes potentials by way of " making progress" sometimes to overtake but mostly on empty roads. I'm glad I didn't own either of them in my younger years when I was less inclined to think about consequences.

You can certainly pass more cars than I can with anything I have in my shop now.😄😄 What kind of flowers were the yellow ones beside the road?
@greywolf9292 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your support 👍 Regarding passing cars as you would have noticed the targets are always in sight, however the opportunity for a clean shot sometimes requires patience 😏 The yellow flowers adorn a plant called Broom at this time of the year. Although attractive it's a bit of a weed and has runner roots which allow rapid spread. Similar flowers adorn another plant called Gorse locally known as Whin which also has very thorny greenery

Cheers David Yes the Akrapovic's sound astounding and Joshua's reaction was priceless. He did make similar remarks on the Rocket, one which I accidentally deleted and others that were indecipherable due to poor mic placement. As for my speed occasionally it was in naughty boy territory but also with consideration. I've rigged up my other helmet to try to reduce wind noise, swapping out Comms and mics meant it wasn't great on this one. Winds above 70mph are Hurricanes and difficult to combat. I met with Alex Bleary View and told him I plan to meet with you, he's going to try to meet up with us too 👍😀

The other day I tightened one of those small rig clamps so tight I snapped the tightner upper thing, had to take a grinder to it to remove. But I can never trust those clamps, as the smaller ones vibrate loose so quickly.
@greywolf9292 Жыл бұрын
I've done the same they're absolutely not fit for purpose, at least for clamping cameras to motorcycles. They might be fine for clamping to a table as long as the camera wasn't heavy. Thanks for watching and commenting, your support is much appreciated. 👍😀

@@BeansOnToast_YT Cheers Toastie, I thought it was funny how his remarks went from Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha on the first burst of acceleration to Holy SHhh with a bit more throttle twist to effen holy SHhh with an open road ahead 😮 😯 😂 I definitely need to put some grip mat on the seat for his next pillion ride. Later on the way back off camera, I pulled up beside a VW campervan at the lights. The driver revved a couple of times, I looked at him and his son and revved back. Next he put his foot on the clutch and revved as if to do a drag race style take off. I thought " you've got to be joking 🤔" Sure enough as the lights changed he charged forwards, blocking my path into his lane from my feeder lane. Next thing my front wheel lifted, I throttled off a bit then it lifted again as I went back on the throttle. Joshua was like " did that front wheel just lift twice" to which I replied "yes but a little bit of manual traction control stopped it in time" 😂

Marvellous 😊 they make such a wonderful sound 😊 which do you prefer, rocket or 1400? 😊
@greywolf9292 Жыл бұрын
Cheers TAYM, it's a difficult choice between the two 🤔 Comfort wise I'd sway towards the Rocket, the GT has such a laid back seating position whereas the ZZR has the cramped up "frog legs" and a little weight on the wrists. As far as " making progress" goes both are equally enthralling, though the Rocket has the edge on low down torque, the ZZR makes up for it by pulling through twice the rev range. The sound both make are music to the ears only the ZZR wins going up the scale ( that roar), whilst the Rocket wins coming down it ( that burble). Looks wise they're two entirely different animals, though again I think it's a draw because they both certainly look like " Animals" 😮😯😘 With the passage of time I may prefer the comfort of the Rocket but its weight is harder to deal with stationery. Mrs Wolf I think leans towards the ZZR, it was her first love, her first born, yet like non identical twins she wouldn't choose between the two. I'm less of a lover of all bikes like yourself, ultimately you're going to have to face that comparison and I look forwards to the day when that tough choice is yours to make 🤔😮😯😁😀
