Why on earth does EVERYTHING have to have a backing track? There are two things on this video worth listening to, one is James Hillier, the other is your H2R. Anything else is just noise.

This. If the uploaders are worried about it being too boring, just upload one with the noisy bullshit in the backround and another just naked so we can hear the bloody thing and take in all the feelings possible without having to risk our lives.

I can't believe this was the first time he rode the H2R.... it's insane enough to ride the TT course at speed, but to do it on a Bike you've never rode before - very impressive.

i bet he's not really trying though. going fast as fast as he could while maintaining the bike in one piece, unscratched and unscathed. but on the real side, H2R needs to be on isle of man TT though.

Interesting how often the people doing the most extreme things are also the calmest. Not a trace of big ego in any of them. Have been to the races 3 times and have met a couple of the riders including Hillier. He was standing in front of the Kawasaki tent talking about his tires to people passing by. Quiet, thoughtful, almost shy and then turns into a death defying gladiator with insane skills two hours later.
@rt2255

To do what they do at the soeeds they do it you have to be calm like fighter pilot, calm and smooth is fast. Never ride with the loud look at how bad i am types, they cause wrecks. The few i actually ride with are all calm guys. I prefer to ride aline, never with the loud mouth guys.

L. Gyger it’s weird tho, if you’ve gone insanely fast on curvy roads & areas you can’t see far ahead, ones you hit that open country, you actually do feel relief & relaxed, even when doing speeds around 200, the more ya do it the more comfortable ya get.

Just a "take" it easy lap between maybe a 4/6 lap race after/before it all even both for the Kawasaki media team all adds to the more laps in bag if pre race gives a good overall course (not track) conditions always helpful on a race day

@@gillsimo5610 I had three H2's in the 70s and a Z1. My Z1 handled just fine. The only change I made was adding steel spacers inside the forks as my version of spring preloaded adjustment and I think I went to a heavier fork oil. Bumped up the rear suspension too. End result it handled more than adequately solo and two up. In fact I ended up reboring with a Yoshimura Stage 2 kit to 1100cc. Quite noticable performance increase and handling was still not an issue even flat out in top. The H2s were worse handlers than the Z imo.

Just a take it "easy" demo lap after/pre a 4/6 lap race even maybe both on a race day for Kawasaki media use not aimed at any "record" leave that kind of stuff to Mr Higgins in the Subaru TT LAP RECORD SMASHED HEAD LINES (missed out CAR as car don't race) for Subaru U S of A been at from 2011? now up to supersport (600cc) lap times well for 1 lap in a top to bottom Prodrive uk built "Subbie" no sexy red Brembo brakes on this top bit of kit unlike the tat you can buy to answer your lap time think the full lap is up on You Tube maybe time it (standing start) not a 4 mile warm up like the car

Amazing video, this guy rides like the wind. In 1986 I bought a brand new ninja 1000R at the Boston bike show, 4,400 bucks, but when I went to pick it up, the dealer says 5,600, figures right, but I had the guys card and I stood my ground, the dealer finally relented and I brought it home in my friends pickup truck, starting it up for my 1st ride was memorable. Back then they weren't around, I had a blast on that bike.

I remember the first time i hit 184 on my GSXR. You always hear about tunnel vision and what it feels like. Once i got into the 180s and you're completely tucked everywhere you truly feel the tunnel vision because you cant see shit except straight ahead and just a little to the left and right.

More than the insane engineering and power of the engine, it's the whole homogeneity of this machine that I find otherworldly. Being able to build an engine that can satellize you is one thing, but being able to adjust proper brakes, suspensions, frame... to make this contraption (it's something else than a motorbike) able to stay on the road is nothing short of a tour de force (when the right pilot is using it, there is).

That is hand down best looking fastest most amazing bike ever built now im sure other companies will complete for that title but for now Kawasaki has it . This is the future of bikes. Good job Kawasaki for setting the bar. Second choice would be roland sands design s100rr followed by Ducati but my opinion doesn't matter just speaking for myself
