Kaweco Student - a strangely different fountain pen from the brand - nothing like the Kaweco Sport!

This is the first Student I have seen with a solid color. Other than the Black and Demonstrator! The rest are the two tone decade’s line. Very nice!

Have had this pen in the 20’s Jazz model for 2years or so, in a medium nib, and it is absolutely one of my best writers … smooth, wet and just lovely. It is highly under-represented in my humble opinion.

Interesting! I would love to see a comparison video between the Student vs. the supra or the Original. They have larger nibs.

In a vacuum, I think this pen is pretty cool. However, at $60, I would buy something else with my money - maybe a Lamy Studio? That said, these tend to be on sale often which makes them more tempting! Great video!

The Studio does seem like better value to me as well. I'd also consider the Aion because of its larger size which I find more comfortable

I actually have this pen and really love it and will be collecting many of the colors. But I do understand the issue with the narrow grip section

I have considered this pen for years. Then I saw the Original 250. Like the larger nib. The student looks like it uses the same nib as the Sport.

I have a piano black version with a nice bold nib. It writes like a charm. I do not like that their branding on their pens is too much. Lamy does it best with a subtle logo.

I've been eyeing this pen, but I haven't bought it yet. I love the one with the green cap and cream body. I have the Kaweco Perkeo, which I much prefer to the sport, which I find too small for comfort. BTW, the Perkeo is only about $17.00, much cheaper than what a student could afford!

The two-tone models I find more attractive. The injection hole is a deal breaker.
