This is one of my favorite videos of yours. I love the cypress trees and all the greenery. So peaceful. I can see why you like camping & being out on the water so much. Maybe when Little G is bigger you can do another overnight kayak trip together. ⛺️🎣🛶

As a reasonably experienced solo kayak camper. My first was 57 days, but not as epic as it seems, was in France - it was 6 days wild camping , 1 day rest, repair and much needed laundry break at a campsite. There were a few things I learnt. 1) Keep it light. I had 15-20 kgs (33-44lbs) of excess weight! ( Don't ask!!) Which was a lttle bit of a struggle getting the boat out and around the 250 canal locks encountered on the 1500km (930miles) journey. 2. Have one luxury, mine was real coffee and a mug that had built in strainer. 3. Save stove fuel by buying quick cook 2-3 minute pasta. 4. Always have a stool or chair., it us no fun sitting on the ground every day. My kayak trolly had a inbuild sling seat. 5. Carry a small 1x 1m (3ftx3ft) square of waterproof light weight ground sheet. Keeps your kit dry when packing/ unpacking on wet/ muddy ground or when there is dew on the grass. 6. A red led in your torch reduces the number of bugs at night plus helps retain night vision. 7. Make sure you have very good quality drybags for everything that can not or you do not want to get wet. 8. If you are pulling your kayak over concrete, sheet pilings or the like, a car floor mat saves the bottom of your kayak. 9.Bow line/Painter on the front of your kayak, far more useful than you can imagine Good video, but please wear a kayaking personal floatation device. When things go wrong, they go wrong spectacularly fast when kayaking and water takes no prisoners. ( I am kayak instructor) Happy camping!

Greetings from Wild Wonderful West Virginia. I enjoyed seeing this video. Time alone is important to us all some get the chance others do not. That Kayak is very nice but I would prefer sit on not sit in. Keep these videos coming. We love what we see.
