I use the strawberry flavor a lot but I'm starting to lean on the pineapple more and more. And tiger nuts never seems to fail me. Thanks brother!

Love that quiet little island spot, surprised to see those carp hanging out in that shallow quick moving water but then I remembered that there was a drop off out in front from an earlier video and then you mentioned it. How do you have the GoPro attached to your PFD, just a chesty mount worn over the top ? Really enjoy the detail you go into showing your equipment and how you set things up. Such a bummer to lose a fish but it happens, those damn fish are smart, head for the cover every time. Good job muscling them out. Sweet morning on the water. Enjoy the parade.

Thanks Don! And yes, I'm using s chesty mount but I cut the should straps off of it, so I only have the sternum strap wrapped around my vest, keeping the camera in place. I used to use it with the shoulder straps but it was kind of cumbersome and tight. The understrap would cut into my armpit.

Nice one bud. Was gutted for you when you pulled that hook trying to bully what seemed to be a decent fish. You eve. Knew what you did 😅. Some cracking fish bud. Still got my fingers crossed you get a scaly banger of a mirror
@AmericanCarpAngler6 ай бұрын
Haha that lead flying back at me took me by surprise 😮 🤣. Not many mirrors in the waters I fish but hopefully we can get a few before the years ends. Thanks Spoony!

Try a 3" hook link,, keeping it close to the method, just saying, keep it up bud👍
@AmericanCarpAngler6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tip Steve. I have thought of shortening the hook link. I buy these prerigged from Amazon. They're cheap and convenient but the hook link is too long.

are they the original quaker oats
@AmericanCarpAngler6 ай бұрын
In this case, they were a generic brand of Quaker instant oates. Sometimes, I use the original rolled oates, but more often, I use the instant.

leave the sling behind, just weigh the net + fish
@AmericanCarpAngler6 ай бұрын
Shoulda, coulda but didn'ta. I have weighed straight from the net before and it's probably the easiest thing to do in this setup. Next time 👍
