When you upgrade let me know. I'll drive down and buy your old one. I'm not looking to have to experiment with setting up a kayak. Way to much money. I'll pay well. I live in Ohio and a kayak is the answer to my fishing prayers. I'm 50 now and carrying gear to bank spots is almost impossible, especially with si many health problems. I'm si glad that fellow fishermen like yourself takes the time to share your love for Catfishing. Thank you so much. Fish on!!

Seems that this kayak is almost perfect for you. I bought a 2020 Hobie PA 12 because of the 360 drive. I bass fish on small streams in Missouri and the 360 drive is very useful to maneuver around down trees, through rapids, and get to the difficult places.

Great Video! I use the Scotty H-Rail mounts. I was concerned about the strength of the mount as well. Rather than investing in a solid mounting system, I use reels with the baitfeeder feature along with Circle hooks so the cats set the hook on the bite. I let it play out a little then switch the baitfeeder lever of and reel it in. I very rarely miss a hit doing this..FWIW I love that Muskie Bump Board!!

gotta ask why a kayak over something like a bass raider or other plastic pond hopper style boat. i had a feelfree kayak ended up getting rid of it and got a pond hopper boat and its been much more useful to me.
@KayakCatfish5 жыл бұрын
The bass raider and pond hopper are very slow compared to a Hobie kayak. I can pedal the Hobie faster than a trolling motor will push the bass raiders. The bath tub style of the bass raider boats would be dangerous for me as well. When the wind kicks up and I take water over the bow, I want something that is self bailing. The bass raider type boats are cool but they just don’t suit my needs.
