Kayak Ceiling Hoist with Electric Winch | Pro Angler | Solo Skiff

Do you own one of the large heavy kayaks like a Pro Angler? It's still possible to gain extra storage space and store it in the ceiling without crushing yourself....most of the time. You can purchase most of what you need from your local hardware store.

Looks awesome mate. I think I'm just going to copy your setup :) Hey out of interest what size wire rope did you use and do they run ok with the two cables running through the single pulleys?

Thank you. The cable size is 3/16". I haven't had any issues at all with two cables running through the same pulley. Since both cables move at the same time, the outer seems to ride the inner without any friction. Good luck with your project!
