I know how your arms feel,I hooked a 16 foot white stugeon in the 1990's and it took 3 people to land it. It took me about two hours to get the feeling back in my arms. Stay safe and I will be waiting patiently for your next video

Here’s a tip you may already know Rob for cuts like that… keep a small tube of crazy glue and some disinfectant wipes in your camera case/PFD pockets or in a ziplock bag close by. You can quickly patch yourself up in no time.

Yeah man lesson learned. I put together a nice first aid kid in a dry bag I keep on me at all times now… super glue included 👌🏼 thanks brother

Feel your pain Rob. Was snapper fishing this summer and had a massive strike on a big live grunt that I had on bottom for an AJ or grouper. First minute or so involved way more bulldogging/runs than I usually see with sharks, so that plus my buddy's encouragement gave me hope for a massive gag or Warsaw. After a few minutes it was pretty clearly a shark, but I still spent the next 45 minutes bringing that 10-footer to the boat just to be SURE!

What micro jig do you like?

Ehhhhh I’m not too picky. I like 20-30 grams and long and skinny with solid hooks (that’s usually the weak link if you buy cheap ones). The hooks matter more to me than the lead. Tungsten is best because you can go heavier with a smaller profile, but they get bit/broken off so often it’s not worth the cost.
