Nice, hope you caught some kokenee. They are delicious smoked. I have heard that people are starting to see them in Taylor Creek. Big Browns hang with the Kokanee too.

New to your channel, nice vid.. hope to see more if you get out there this spring and summer. One suggestion although poking a hole in the Mac’s releases air, its does have a mortality rate attached to it. I have used descenders in the ocean for Rockfish and at Tahoe. They work great, hopefully you will give them a try..

About a year ago you talked about a set of sea-lect steering peddles and their adjusted length for your yak. How much did you have to take off of them? I'm almost finished with an electric yak. I've stolen most of your ideas and I'm down to a few electrical items and stringing up the peddles. Your vids are great, thank you so much

Thanks, I really appreciate your kind words. I cut 2" max, probably more like 1.5 inches.

I like to pause and hold the fish @bout 20' down And let them burp.. then reel them up after I see the bubbles come up. Every once in a while I get too excited and reel them up to the top bloated. It happens.. I also carry a descender I am set to 50-100-150' depth.. enjoy watching your content!

Do you need to have your kayak inspected before launching at Lake Tahoe?

Thanks. I haven't uploaded anything in a while, busy life right now, but I'll get out and get something going soon.

Just got my Hobie Compass yesterday and looking for some ideas and that’s how I bumped into to you videos . Great videos thank you for sharing Sir.

Love your videos, but puncturing the bladder is not the way to do it, even if it is a needle. Fish can’t swim properly once it’s popped and will eventually die. You need a descender.

There is a "survival rate" but I appreciate your feedback.. they look simple enough, I will get one and give it a try. Thanks.

Hey Tahoe yak fisher. Hope you don’t mind me asking, what part of the lake do you launch from? Thanks man. Great video
