Hi mate, I am always watching your video. I am living at albany. My question is... What kind of rod are you using when you use a soft bait? 6ft or 7ft? And brand? I am thinking to buy a rod. Cheers

Hey Kevin glad you are watching the videos. Most of my softbait rods have been 7 ft. After breaking my last one, I went for an ocean angler megawave Pro which is much bigger at 8ft 6in. It is by far my favourite softbait rod that I have used. Check the description of my videos for all of the gear used 🎣

I have always caught fish on both the incoming and outgoing tides at narrow neck

The dog was on shore but the sound carried well. I was only fishing about 200m from shore though. I've just put up a video showing all of the kit that I use on the kayak and how it is set up if you're interested 👌

I fish throughout the year. The water or weather is never too cold, just dress accordingly.
