In college in 1977 I had a friend in DC who was a Dutch Artist by the name of Ed Albers. I have not seen him since. He had just graduated art school there and displayed works in galleries later in DC and New York featuring amorphous objects with contrasts in color and light. He passed in a blaze in his apartment in Gramercy Park along with his GSD Captain in 2015. A brilliant soul he introduced me to Kayak in 1977. I have listened to Kayak ever since and it is now 2022, but with a large hole in my heart. Had I known he was just across the river too busy tending my own garden. All the missed opportunities in life.

I entered college in the Netherlands in 1977. When I heard Kayak then, I was hooked too. This was probably their best album ever.

After almost 60 years of age, I’m thinking that how lucky I was to grow up with these amazing songs and wonderful music. We either don’t hear these high quality music, (60s, 70s and some of the 80s), or I’m biased in my judgement. I hallucinate with this song and similar ones from that era. Soooooo beautiful! 👏🏼👍🏼

Surprised this band didn't get more recognition back in the day. The intro and ending reminded me of Queen, change up more like Sweet. Yet original. Very talented musicians. Cool song from Kayak. Cheers.
