Another good one! Those carp are so fun to catch! I remember some 45 years ago my brother and I hooked up on big one on the back waters of the Ohio River. We took turns fighting it for 2 hours on light tackle with 10 pound line, we might have lost it had he not jumped in the water and rassled it the bank! An old fisherman fishing nearby and give us the doughball we caught it on guessed it weighed around 50 lbs. Never learned his recipe of that doughball cause he died before we got to fish with him again!

Been carp fishing for over 25 years. Fishin' is always good. One pointer: Don't put anything on the end of your hair, just make it long enough for the bait, you are using, and hook the loop back on the hook after threading your bait on the hair. Works every time, and saves a lot of hassle.

Like another gentleman said you do a great job explaining your technique on fishing and also make it very entertaining. Now for the rest of the story as Paul Harvey always said. I was a bass fisherman for around 40 years and worked PR for a few tournament organizations but now and then i needed a break and would take one of my grandsons fishing. As he got a little older he would go catfishing and carp fishing. When he was still young he wanted to go carp fishing so we would hit the waters of a local water shed that was actually used to furnish the DNR with carp for the state fair here in Indiana. One night we went out and it was a little slow but it was one of the first actual carp fishing trips he had been on. After about an hour he got a hit that bent his pole nearly double . Now keep in mind. Dylan was a little skinny fart and was still young. Anyway the 7 pound carp pulled that boy down a bank and then back up it about 3 times. LOL I kept asking him if he wanted help but he insisted on bringing it in on his on. It was a trip that you had to be there to really enjoy it. The big thing is that these are one of the hardest fighting fish and can be caught easily in shallow water. Bottom line is for you hardcore bass anglers put down the bass rods and give this a try. You might get your fingers dirty but you could have the time of your life. Rock on and keep your rod stiff and your lines tight.

Another great carp video! I had the thought that most of these carp you are catching have probably never been caught before b/c so few people fish for them. They sure do fight like crazy! There's no telling how many carp there actually were in that spot. As you said, it could have been thousands. Loved the rock star reference with the scales lol!

Justin these carp videos are ace. A little tip for you. Place a carp mat on the floor of the kayak. They are filled with foam about 2 inches thick and go inside a waterproof cover. So the carp can lie on something soft while you unhook it. So if the fish thrashes about it reduces the risk of injury. Just like you have a cushion for your tush...

Sir, I am a new subscriber and I have to say you have a wonderful personality and really know how to build enjoyable content. If you want to do something different to add excitement to each video, add a mystery rod and reel each trip and make it a war between you and the fish using a bass fishing set up like a medium heavy rod and 15 or 20 pound test using a standard bass reel like a curado. People will come to the channel just to see if you had to fight the fish on the light gear! Take a poll and see if subs would like to see you in a Mike Tysonesque battle with lighter tackle setup.

Sir I really enjoy your carp videos I mean I enjoy all your fishing videos no matter what it is your fishing for. I mean I enjoy how you are always joking around with the fish and all the funny things you say just make my day. I mean even if you do go carp fishing a lot of the times you catch a cat as well. But it really is cool what you have been doing like bait an area and then going back a few day later to see what fish are there if any at all. I mean in one of your last videos you baited a couple of place and when you went back one bag was gone but the other one was still there. Well you was catching fish at the first spot were the bag was took from and you said I always tell you never leave fish thats biting to look for fish well you did and you when to your other bag and never caught a fish lol. But just goes to show you can bait a place and come back to fish it and still not catch fish. Well keep it up and till next's time GodBless and Tight Lines.

On how smart/hook shy carp are, I have a one eyed mirror that I have caught four times this month, same spot and bait each time. Also, all those stocked lakes in Europe wouldn't work out if the carp learned very much how to avoid being caught.

Overall, these fish have omnivorous diets, which means that they eat both plants and animals. However, as generalists, they eat just about anything that they can swallow. Common food items include insects, insect larvae, clams, algae, plants, plankton, and more.

If a bluegill was as big as them carp you would have a fight on your hands for there size i think they fight the hardiest pound for pound. I mix instant rice ketchup cinnamon and hot sauce mix a ice cream bucket add alittle water or some can corn water but a lid on it in the sun gets really sticky put corn on your hook and ball it around it

Dear Justin, I could give you 20 years of knowledge in carpfishing if you want ! Just let me know The carp you catch on that lake are kind of skinny if you compare the head with the boddy. The food pressure must be verry high ... thats why you have so manny runs of carp, they are all verry hungry ;-) .
@peterderidder99229 ай бұрын
All the comments of those european carp fishers are tru, 90% of the carp will remember witch smell ore bait means danger ! ! So if you notice the baits getting less you have to change from baits on the hook. Just use other flavours ! there 1001 kind of flavours ;-) ,
