I think that the first one would have gotten away like the second one except the stinger fly worked again. Loved seeing catfish, bait grinding, AND the Baby Cheetah! Has the thought crossed your mind that the reason you get more bites on the left hand side is that every time you change a bait you throw the old bait off of the left side of the boat. If you happen to think about it the next couple of times you're out there throw the old bait off the right side and see if that makes a difference when there's a lot of current it probably doesn't make a difference but if there is no current you're chumming only one side.

I would say bring a net to get those smaller fish quick and save the bait sometimes, but it would probably be just as much hassle having bigger one's get tangled in it when you bring them into the kayak lol

I would pay you 100 bucks to ship me about a dozen skipjacks to NC so I could try them in my home lake. (High Rock Lake). We only have bream, gizzards and threadfin, not to mention the expensive goldfish we buy at or local tackle shops.

I appreciate the offer but I’m not a bait dealer and don’t have the ability to ship frozen bait. There are some bait dealers who do it but it’s pretty ridiculously expensive and I’m not entirely sure it is legal in NC since skipjack aren’t a native species.
