Pro angler 14 is probably the most stable kayak on the market. The big water 132 he is in is the same yak I have and it is also very stable, although it is a lot more prone to flipping. It helps not being really heavy too.

Your videos really are awesome, the joking and keeping things not serious makes it that much better. I love fishing as much as I love anything. I caught the biggest flathead of my life a few weeks ago at 26 pounds which isn't much in your type of fishing but here in Central OH the blue and flathead aren't as plentiful as the Tennessee River. You've definitely inspired me to get a kayak as soon as I can afford it lol

I always figured the stinger flies float at the same level as the bait because of the current. The catfish is also going to be coming from that direction and he senses the flies with the Barbels and strike at it. I also assume you get the fowl hook because the catfish are swimming past the stinger to get to the chunk. In my mind it makes since.

I thought about you modifying your rig to make landing fish easier. Put a swivel just above the sinker. That way you can use the sinker as a handle and not worry about a fish stripping line through your hand. Just a thought.

@@marklemist6928 I’ve caught countless flatheads on cut bait. Didn’t have enough live bluegills one time when I was hanging limblines, so I just started cutting them in half. Never thought I’d catch anything but channels. Wrong. I’ve never gone back to live bait. Like everybody else, I grew up with the “gotta have live bait for flatheads” mantra.

Blue cats eat more like channel cats. Like chicken breast or something like that blue cats will eat that sometimes. Very very rarely do you ever catch a flathead on something like that. But cut bait sure sometimes. I'm like most though I catch more flatheads on live bait. But they do eat cut bait for sure.
