Love these unedited videos. I I can't think of anything I'd rather be watching or doing. Well, maybe soaking baits myself and watching KyakCatfish. I greatly appreciate all the content you bring to us, and all the effort you put into sharing knowledge that's taking you years of trial and error to learn yourself. There is no other channel that compares to yours for a new catfisher to gather knowledge and have success if they put their time in.

Man JJ I love to talk garden and tillers. I’m gonna be posting pictures of our garden in your Kayak Catfish page comments🙈. We got smaller tractor and I been looking for a tiller for it but I have 2 other rear tine I have had for years before I had a tractor. Our garden is like 60x60 and we have a few raised beds too. I give my neighbors a ton of food and we can a bunch too in the fall I got a basement full of all kind of canned stuff. Honestly we are making green bean casserole from our own home grown beans this weekend And it’s all organic I use no pesticide or herbicide. We make a pretty stout soil and just let the plant uptake the food as it needs.

I've watched a million hours of your shenanigans .... and enjoyed them all. QUESTION: I watch quite a few of the Tennessee River guys and you all used to catch a lot more Stripers even as recently as 2 years ago. I can't remember the last time you (or Catfish Dave, or others) have hooked up a Striper. Have they had a problem in the watershed or river system there?
@KayakCatfish6 ай бұрын
I used to catch them more frequently when I casted baits out and let them sit on bottom. I mostly suspend baits or drag now so I don’t get them very often anymore.

@davidnewton30646 ай бұрын
So Ive watched this video about 4 times. Even went out and tried to replicate this technique and I had some issues. 1. When following these contour lines how do you keep the lines behind you from getting tangled up? Do you just make very gradual turns? 2. Depth changes? Do you have so much lines out that you still dont come up off the bottom if the depth changes say 5 or 8 feet?
@KayakCatfish6 ай бұрын
The lines behind you shouldn’t get tangled unless a fish gets in another line while reeling it in. You do want to keep your turns gradual. I mostly drag in places like ledges where I don’t have to turn much. Your sinker should keep your bait down when the depth changes. If it isn’t, then you either need a heavier sinker or you need to let out more line.
